First time trying Wah Wahs. Shes expensive. Would I go back, hell yea! I probably would not visit as often because shes expensive. I ordered combination fried rice and an egg roll, it was $17. I normally pay that for two Chinese dinner plates. Her food is good though. It has like a hood flavor to it. When I say hood, I really mean hood. Its so good. That chicken in the combination fried rice was so bomb. I cant explain the taste, so just try it for yourself. Its not in the best of neighborhoods, but thats to be expected in South Dallas. I dont care about all that though, but some people do. I hang in the south so all that is common to me. Her place is small and shes been here for years. Inside she has her wall covered in photos from the years she has been there. I dont like small spaces, so I just called in my order and picked it up. I could never eat on the inside, Id panic like crazy. Enough talking about Wah Wahs. Just go!

Just moved to the area and tried for the first time today. HORRIBLE! Clearly all these people must not know good Chinese food. Im from Houston so I actually know what it is. The food is so over priced I paid $25 for a pepper steak and Orange chicken and honestly the portions or what you see on a 5.99 lunch special. Then on top of that she doesnt clean her skillet after each use. I have a shell fish allergy and the person before me ordered shrimp fried rice. Why did I have an allergic reaction when I ordered no seafood. Clearly she only makes her money because of the area and there are no other choices nearby. She does everything under the table but then tries to charge you tax. HELL NO STAY AWAY YU HAVE BEEN WARNED! I feel ripped off. Never again! SMH

I love this lady and her food, I have been going to her for the whole 30 years she been in business. I was in the 3rd grade at Charles Rice Elementary when she opened in 1983, and I been going ever since. This lady can cook her butt off, the food is off the chain, if you havent been here, get your butt over there!!!!!!!!!
