Ive heard and read so much buzz/good things about this place I finally tried it. Overall, not bad. Id go back for for the bar/reasonably priced drinks, but not go out of my way for the pizza the way I do for other places. In a nutshell, as advertised, the ingredients themself were top quality, especially the fresh mazzeralla. But good ingredients is only 1/2 the story behind great pizza --the other half is the ability/inspiration to pull it all together, portion it correct, corrk it correct and witht he right equiptment, etc. Look at Grimaldis here in Dallas and Allen. Good pizza, but nothing even remotely close to the original under the brooklyn bridge, even though the raw ingrediants are the same. In the case of Bryan St Tavern, our group ordered several pizzas. There ws considerable variance in the thickness of the crust, cooking temperature and generosity of topings. Such noticable inconsistency is an immediate red flag of mediocre pizza, and never something you see at the great places. I can only speek for my own as I did not try the other pizzas. Mine, a large, came out as a craxker thin crust, which I normally dont mind, except it was overcooked, scorced black in areas, and dry from over cooking. I ordered extra cheese, but it actually had far less density of cheese than my friends small margareta pizza. I asked the waitress, and she said the kitchen was busy and they rushed, and dont really have time to pay attention to such details (not in words quite that rude, but that was the point she was making). The sauce, seemed decent and a little tagy, was underscored by the fact that it too was dried from the overcooking, considering that the style is such that the pie is all sauce, with a few melted balls of fresh mozzeralla. So the sauce is exposed to the open heat, which is probably ok is not so overcooked. Bottom line: Again. good ingrediants, as advertised, but overall, so-so pizza. If they keep at it, I suspect they will gradually refine the recipe and methods and improve, potentially reaching the levels of the area favorites like Grimaldis, coal vines, neo pizza, ovivellas, fire side pies, campania, etc. But for now, I give them just 1 thumb up and 1 down. FYI, the best of this style pizza Ive found in the DFW area is Cavelli Pizza --1 location at 635 and beltline, and another in Mckinney. They are the closest Ive found here to real Italy quality gourmet pizza. Bryan St Taverns pizza appears to resemble Campises, who claims to be "Egyption style", what ever exactly that means... So its liek they modeled after Campises, but tried to improve on the quality of ingredients, and then slanted it slightly towards the gourmet styles of the places I mentioned earlier. Great intentions, but its really a "new" pizza still searching for an identy and how to come together as a good pie instead of an inconsistent awkward one thats OK, but not particularly memorable. I ll give them about 6 months, and if still around, try them again to see if there was improvment, and re-review...

DO NOT EAT HERE. I went with my family of seven to celebrate our birthdays, overall the atmosphere was good the drinks were fine but the food was horrible. Out of the seven people who attended tonight, four of us had issues with our food. First of all my son had a bug in his drink, okay that happens, but then our food came out. My mother and I had the buffalo chicken ranch sandwich, which was totally inedible, the bottom bun was soaked in ranch sauce causing it to be a soggy mess that fell apart if you tried to pick it up or cut it. My niece had undercooked chicken on her pizza, thank jeebus she didnt eat it. When we asked to speak to the manager we were told he was gone for the night. What kind of manager leaves a restaurant unmanaged on a Saturday night @ 8:30 pm? These issues caused our family get together to be tainted and miserable instead of fun and festive. I WILL NOT be going back here again and urge you to take caution when ordering food here.

Embarrassing service. Server only asked for drinks and said that we could not order food since it will be a two hour wait. We are going to be here for two hours so we didnt mind waiting. Instead of allowing us to order, he told us we could not even order chips, not allowed to bring food in, and could not help us in any way. I dont care if this server was having a bad day, he should be fired for such terrible service that you do not want your establishment associated with. Unfortunately, he did not tell us his name, except that he was of short stocky structure, wore a black shirt with employee written on the back in yellow on 1/19/17 and worked in the patio.

The service here was awesome, and the food was decent too. The best thing we ate was the big pretzel; next time Id like to try the corn dog. The salad...was a salad. The pizza wasnt bad but I wont do it with provel cheese again. Wings were OK, probably wouldnt get those again since there are better places around that specialize in only wings. I enjoyed sampling all the local craft beers, and found a few new ones that I really like! EDIT! Visit #2... Terrible service, warm beer, burned pizza. Why did I come back here again? Especially after the bartender lied to us trying to scam money on my card. Never again... No wonder this place was dead.

This one star is solely for the food and drinks. But twice in 3 and weeks, weve endured non-existent service. And neither of these times included a waitress outright walking out. Its been easier for us to go to the bar and order directly than be ignored by the incompetent wait staff at Bryan Street Tavern. If I could offer some constructive criticism, please quit ignoring one table on the outside patio and still manage to attend to others. Doesnt help the case that the waitresses are overworked so much as theyre just negligent, thoughtless and rude.

I was here for a themed trivia night and the place was crowded! The wait staff was very patient and great at handling the crowd that they clearly were not prepared for. Cant wait to get back and try some of the food. When I got my check I had been charged two different prices for my drinks even though I had ordered the same drink all night.

Grabs some drinks and head out back for a laid back night. You can play whatever drinking games you want on the back patio, they have cornhole, and in case the front is a little to chill for you, they have a mini club on your way outside.

Super easy going bar with cheap beer, easy parking, and fun karaoke. I dont like that their patio isnt smoke free, but if youre looking for a super casual bar night in a t-shirt and workout shorts, this is the place to go.

Fun bar with a projector in the back room to watch sports. Bartender was rude and was talking with her boyfriend for a long time, however, the rest of the staff was friendly which makes me think it was just 1 bad employee.

This place is great. The comedians for the open mic were actually funny, and the one band I saw was really good. Other than that, the atmosphere is cool, the food makes me a happy camper, and the staff is awesome!
