OK, folks, Im from South Jersey, which I consider a suburb of Philadelphia, so this is a review you can take to heart. ......I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of food at Texadelphia. I ordered a Philly cheesesteak minus the peppers and the Philly cheese fries minus the jalapenos and I found both to be delicious. Now, they do use Cheese Whiz instead of deli cheese, but this is a common thing Ive seen at Tony Lukes, Pats, and Ginos in Philly. South Jersey typically uses slices of American cheese, which I like better, but despite my personal preference, I was very happy. The only reason Im not giving the place 5 stars is because the fellow that worked the counter was quite gruff and seemed a bit miserable. I dont know if thats him trying to emulate a South Jersey/Philly attitude or if he was just having a bad day, but it turned me off a teeny bit. Id give it 4.5/5 if I could. Keep up the good work! You get this South Jersey boys stamp of approval

Edible. But so is Steak-Umm. No where close to a Philly original cheesesteak. I knew I was in trouble when they offered wiz. Wiz is a tourist thing. Pats and Genos are tourist traps. Any self-respecting Italian pizza shop in the North East isnt going to wiz on your steak. Anyway, steak was overcooked, roll had no Italian-bread texture, was something you can get from a low-end grocery baker for a dollar a dozen, fried onions were not caramelized and the provolone wasnt mixed and melted into the entire steak. And they serve this with corn chips? Youre doing it wrong.

Ordered the build your own beef philly with bell peppers. When I looked inside the sandwich the meat was not even chopped up. There were big chunks of meat that looked more like beef fajita. Also there was no mushrooms or cheese on the sandwhich which is suppose to come with. Then when I called the resturant the manager Jason who apologized and offered to remake to sandwich again. Very happy with the service and food the second time.

With the usual disclaimer that this isnt a "true cheesesteak", its a pleasing Texas version. Food is served hot, drinks are cold, and the salsa is sufficiently spicy. Interior is very clean and well-lit. Has a trio of TVs, so its a decent place to ear and watch the game. All around solid dining experience.

Ate here on Monday. I thoroughly enjoyed eating here. The staff was very friendly and the texican cheese steak was amazing. Just wanted to say to the other commenter complaining about onions, I too hate onions, but instead of complaining, I simply ask for no onions. It works.

Im a fan of Texadelphia, but it seems like lately its been hit or miss with the ones Ive been too. I remember they used to be really good and filling, but now its not so much. And especially with so many local restaurants to choose from now, I hardly eat here as much anymore.

The service and recommendations were great, but I thought the cheesesteak was average compared to some of the others here in Austin. I got the "founders favorite" but if youve got a craving for cheesesteak in Austin, try hoodys in round rock, or way south philly first.

I had a really good Italian sandwich from here for lunch. Definitely was not expecting it to be as good as it was. The chips that came with it though were not good. They tasted very stale and bland. I would go back again... I would just pass on the chips.

I love Texadelphias founders favorite cheesesteak. The jalapeños are perfect that add that south texas flavor to it. The chips are also really good compared to most mexican salsa chips they give you. Now I want to go back.

Yes, yes... If you are from Philly and a professional cheese steak connoisseur this might not be your cup of cheese wiz ;) But if you are from Texas, like meet and cheese, you will enjoy what you get here!

Great Philly steak sandwiches and nachos! Got my order to go and they were very polite. They even put the cheese on the side so the chips dont get soggy during transportation. Loved it!

Food was good and they have generous portions. Slightly expensive and you have to order things separately. Such as entre then side vs having a meal price. But overall is was good

Soggy bread, cheap beef, nothing like youd get in Philly. $2 up charge for side salad was basically sandwich toppings in a cup. Wont be back.

Despite everything being covered in onions, the seasoned fries and pizza sub are amazing
