This was my first time eating here and I definitely enjoyed it for the most part. I came at a busy time during the weekday and they were very short-staffed. Nonetheless, I sat outside and placed my order anyway since I was pregnant and hungry. My waiter, Dave, was really pleasant. He did the best he could with the limitations of time and staff that day. He brought me a non-alcoholic bartenders special that tasted like a creamsicle bar and I was in heaven for a few minutes. I then placed my order and he checked on me frequently while I waited for my food to come out. Almost 20 min later, my food arrives and it looks and smells amazing. I ordered a half Ham Benedict and half OMG! French Toast. The Ham Benedict was phenomenal. I ordered the egg over hard because of the fully cooked factor and it was still delightful. The French toast was great also, but there was too much syrup/sauce on the plate, causing it to be too overpowering. It almost became unbearably sweet, but because it was half of a lunch portion, I was able to finish it off in time. Overall, I can definitely see myself coming back to this restaurant to try other options on the menu, but I dont think it will be around their lunch time during the weekdays unless they increase staffing.

I had the OMG French Toast, my wife had the sweet potato hash. General thoughts first, then specifics: The atmosphere was appealing, bright, fresh, playful, and MCM, and I suspect is responsible for the difference in prices between this and Kerby Lane. Im not sure how much of their menu is prepared on-site versus a central kitchen. Overall, it was a fair value. I definitely wouldnt wait here for food, but we came early and there was no wait. The coffee was better than average for a breakfast spot. The orange juice was fresh and generously poured. The sweet potato was slightly undercooked presenting a chewier than expected breakfast hash. The French toast was trying too hard to impress. There were some good flavors in there, but I think too many conflicting ones. It would have been better to serve it with some nuts rather than berries, which conflicted with the caramel sauce. Coconut was also out of place. Perhaps everything on the French toast would be excellent with French toast, but not all at the same time. Service was very friendly. I guess if I could have Kerby Lane food here, in this clean, bright dining room instead of the at sticky wooden tables in a dimly lit old house (Kerby lane) I would have been happier.

Two stars cause the barista was nice. Ordered the OMG French Toast to go. Waited there, took it across the street to eat while waiting for appointment. It was already cold and they poured the syrup on in so it was really soggy. Called and asked why they wouldnt put that on the side for a to go order and the lady on the other line said I should have requested the syrup be on the side. Food was cold, soggy, not edible. They refunded my money but made a point to again tell me request syrup on the side next time. Disappointed, was excited about the stuffed French Toast but after two bites threw it away. Out side of container was covered in egg yolk and syrup. Thought the top had flipped on to another plate but on further review its definitely finger prints. Probably wont be back.

Giving this two stars because the food is ok, but the wait is really terrible. We were told 45 min to 1 hour wait when we got there which considering it was Sunday, we understood and patiently waited. We got there at 12:47pm, party of 4 and didnt sit down until 1:55pm (over an hour wait). We kept being told we were "next" but then saw other parties same size being seated so it was disheartening. We asked for first available, so when we finally got seated, it was outdoor on the patio by the street and it was hot. The umbrellas help only a little, the owner should consider putting fans on either side. Ordered the Benny Goodman, the salmon was SUPER salty. Honestly the food taste was not worth the over-an-hour wait.

First off, if you come at prime brunch time on a Saturday or Sunday, there will be a wait. Most places in Austin will have a wait. You cant fault them for being popular. We had an hour wait, which would have been shorter if we took a table outside. The food was amazing. Interesting dishes, each person of our party had at least 2 or 3 dishes they couldnt decide on, everything sounded good. The waitress brought us a chocolate coffee pancake right off the bat, as a thank you for waiting. The cocktails were great as well. They make a good bloody mary, and their homemade pickles are perfect. This is our new favorite place to bring our visiting friends. It is amazing.

We had to stop into Snooze while we visited Austin. We wanted to see how it compared to the Colorado version. We went on a Friday morning and were shocked there was a 45 minute wait. But we knew why. Snooze is worth waiting for. I cant imagine what the wait is on Saturday or Sunday! The food was promptly delivered. Everything for our group of four came out just as we had specialty ordered (a few people with dietary requirements). The chai tea with almond milk was better than and chai I had ever had - EVER! We love the local sauce that they serve with it - different from the one in Colorado! The plates were large and the food was delicious. So satisfying!

Off to a great start. Excellent coffee. Friendly staff. So many good choices. Can I have one of each? Details to follow... OK. Breakfast consumed. Definitely 5 stars. The option to try a pair of "Bennys" on one plate was fabulous! Perfectly poached eggs. Chilaquiles Benedict paired perfectly with Chile Verde Benny and they were glorious together. Hey have definitely matured "the art of hollandaise!" Excellent and attentive service from Forest. Hubby had OMG! French Toast. I had to taste. Delicious. Restrooms very tidy. Overall an excellent first impression.

Loved this boisterous eatery. Breakfast or Brunch style menu. The coffee is great! We ordered the pancake flight--choose 3 pancakes from the menu. They were over the top delicious. The Bella Bella Benny is a riff on Eggs Benedict with prosciutto, taleggio cheese, and a balsamic drizzle over the hollandaise. Really well done. From the light menu, the smoked salmon with whole grain toast (toasted to a lovely crisp), herbed goat cheese, caper relish, hard boiled egg, and an arugula salad. Light but delicious and satisfying. Highly recommend!

A great brunchy restaurant with a large, interesting, and diverse menu. I appreciate their brunch drink options that offer alcoholic coffee beverages. Ive yet to have a poor experience here, but as you can imagine, the wait is usually fairly long, sometimes stretching into 2 hours on rough days. Eventually, even food this good and interesting isnt worth such a long time to the everyday person who just wants a nice meal. Still, its usually worth the wait and the diner setting is very welcoming. Park in the garage around the back.

Food was amazing. I ordered the BennyGoodman Benedict with the Mayan Mocha. DELICIOUS. The wait at this place is NO JOKE. So be prepared. My friend and I arrived at 930 and still had a 30 minute wait, so I cant imagine what the wait is after that time. The area to wait tho is pretty comfortable. Tables, free coffee and water, and games to play. Service was great. Id totally recommend this place, but if youre not willing to get up a bit early or hate waiting.. this isnt the place for you. Which is unfortunate.
