Upon entering this location we immediately became concerned. There was no one there, no customers and a hostess did not show for a full 4 minutes! Not only this but there was a ranky foul odor that hit you as you opened the door and just clung to the air..it was gross. But we were hungry and I had a birthday coupon for a free pancake deal. Finally the hostess came, and I was kind of shocked when she looked at our 5 month old baby in a carrier and seriously asked if he needed a menu -_- We were seated and the hostess who is now our waitress brought us water and then menus. I ordered the Bacon Temptation Omelette and the freebie Rooty Tooty Fresh ‘N Fruity® Pancakes for my daughter and I to share. My husband ordered the Philly Cheese Steak Stacker. Finally after a very VERY long wait our food arrived - and I did mention that there was literally no one else there so not sure why it took so long.... And to add to it, trying to get a water refill was impossible! Here is the breakdown on these items: Bacon Temptation Omelette Where is the bacon?? Ok so this is advertised with the word Bacon in the name..but there was not much in it at all, maybe 1 or 2 small pieces crumbled down. The cheese tasted worse than the old government issued cheese from back in the day, it was gross. The so called sauce they put in it I think was generic HEB mayonnaise. I remember going here a decade ago and ordering an omelette and being wowed with the quality and quantity - it was low quality and the quantity was half of what it use to be. Rooty Tooty Fresh ‘N Fruity® Pancakes We got the strawberry one.... the strawberries were ok, the portion ok but the pancakes were disgusting, like the oil or butter was forgotten - not sure but um.. the name of the place is International House of PANCAKES and the pancakes were disgusting, dry and not really edible! They looked pretty but that is it.... Philly Cheese Steak Stacker Not sure where the stacker in this is except that it was obviously made with Steak - Umms.. that frozen Philly so called meat stuff sold frozen in grocery stores! The cheese again was gross, like a generic slice of American cheese tossed on and it came with some burnt pieces of onion - THATS IT! The worst Philly cheese steak in history! Even the bread was stale! And you would think the fries would be ok at least - Nope not at all, tasted stale! So to sum it up: Bad service Bad food Smelly restaurant We will never return here again....

I love IHOP but this one isnt worthy of its name. I walked into the IHOP with my family. As usual we waited to be seated about 3 or so minutes. At first the waitress (her name was Abi) was friendly. She got our drinks and everything was fine. Then she took our order. She attended my parents in Spanish which was helpful and better for them. My family and I waited... and waited and waited and waited. We waited there for almost a hour! Next thing we know the waitress is at our table apologizing because the kitchen lost the ticket with our order on it. They notice they werent making our food after 45 minutes!!! The responsibility of our order and of the ticket that holds our order is the responsibility of the waitress and she tried to pin the fault on the kitchen even thought she had all the fault. She would enter the kitchen and start talking and not doing her job! She didnt come to check up on us once in that hour that I was waiting there. I even had to ask another worker, I think he was a runner, for more sugar. This isnt the first time the kitchen loses my order. This IHOP is terrible, McDonalds has better service. I told the waiter to forget the order and to give us the check so I could pay for my drinks and demand to see the manager. The manager hide and didnt come out to see us so I just paid and waited for the receipt. I waited 10 minutes for it then realize the receipt was never coming after I saw the waitress that was suppose to take care of us deep in conversation with another employee. My advice is that there are plenty of other IHOPs in the greater Austin area, go to one of those cause this on truly sucks.

We ate here last night 6/7/16 and it was horrible. We walked in and immediately noticed the dirty smell the building had. We sat up front for almost five minutes, while we listened to the staff talking in the kitchen. We were finally greeted by a dark haired bearded man, who took our drink order along with the other table he sat, but never brought our drinks. Our waitress came over and introduced herself politely and took our orders. During our meal she came by once to fill our teas that had been empty most the time, brought the wrong teas out, and never brought the creamers I had asked for, or came back out so I would have a change to ask again. I finally asked another waitress to see if she could find our waitress and have her bring some cream over to the table. She came over minutes later....no cream. So I asked her one more time and finally got it. During our whole meal we listened to them play there music in the back fairly loud, and at 11 at night Futures trashy rap album is not what I wanted to hear! Not only listening to that but to staff talking down to one another. As we were walking out we finally noticed a female manager in the kitchen who never came out once. Basically we will never be back. So terrible.

I went in at 9:30 PM with my boyfriend and sister and it took them a few minutes to even realize we had walked in. When they finally saw us and took us to our seats I noticed that almost every single table we passed was dirty and it looked like there were only four or five in use. It took them almost five minutes to get our drinks and another ten to get them and they didnt even bring them all out. When we were ready to order we had to sit there for another ten minutes until our waitress came back by to take our order. When we finally got it, almost 25 minutes later, it was bad. My omelet was cold, I didnt get the avocado I ordered, the tomatoes were hard, the broccoli was dry and mushy, and I had to remind the waitress that I ordered hash browns. The store was absolutely filthy. They left dishes at one table for at least 40 minutes after the group left, it looked like there was mold on the ceiling, and the crew was terrible. I understand being short staffed, I work in a restaurant, but when the manager (I assumed) has to go to each table and asked if someone has even been by there is something seriously wrong. Ive never been to that location before and I can honestly say I have no intention of ever going back.

I was so disappointed. Went to Ihop on Research 2 days in a row. Lunch the first day, Breakfast the second day. First time, had a long wait to get seated, and again to get waited on. I always have the same thing every time I go. The 2x2x2 with scrambled eggs and crisp bacon. The bacon was awful. Tasted like it was bad. But wasnt crisp either. I asked for coffee and was brought a cold pot and cup poured. I was hoping because of the location of this Restaurant every thing would be fine. Second time, next day for Breakfast. The manager was seating people. He was so rude. He sat the people ahead of us, then proceeded to wait on them, pour their coffee and just left us standing there. He looked to be in a bad mood. They seemed short handed, but the manager of all people should set an example for his employees. I got hot Coffee this time. Ordered the same thing, and the bacon was not crisp and still tasted horrible. I wont say I wont go back to Ihop. But I plan or really complaining if any of this happens again. Our waitress was great!!
