Laid back "all American" diner with good breakfast & burger options. One of those places that is easy to miss/drive by it if you dont know to look for it - but, when you visit there are always locals there eating. Staff is always friendly and accommodating (theyll make a omelet with chili for me). It has a very relaxing feel about it.Breakfast is standard, but solid. Burgers are above average. They have a drive thru (I havent used). One of those places that is great to meet friends on the weekend or just to stop by during the week for a decent bite to eat. I, also, like that it is locally owned/operated.

I been going here since 2000. You could say I am local, they just see me roll up and already know my name and what I want. Best veggie and regular burgers in Lakeway. Fresh cut fries and fresh burger patties cant go wrong with that. There is a lot of new burger joints, which I have tried in Lakeway since it has grown so much but I always go back to Sandeez. A bit pricey but you get what you pay for such a well sized burger and fries with great flavor! Thanks guys for always staying true to your product! #loyalcustomer

I grew up in Lake Travis and have been going to Sandys my entire life. Im also a fan of cheeseburgers and have had every one in Austin. I can tell you without a doubt that my favorite burger in Central Texas is the Dano at Sandys. The burger is incredible, the sweet potato fries are amazing, and you can get a double meat cheeseburger, fries, and a drink for $12. If youre in the area and dont eat here you are doing yourself a disservice

AUSTIN STAPLE will never fail you. I think I love this place so much because I try to make it in once or twice every other month for the past 20 years Honestly it is not the greatest blow your mind type of burger just the classic simple burger cooked perfectly; in my mind that is how the tradition is preserved. If any of you are up early enough their breakfast also happens to be pretty killer.

This is the place in the Lakeway area to get a good old-fashioned hamburger. The restaurant is not the nicest, but it has the appropriate decor for the type of restaurant. The hamburgers and cheeseburgers are the main staple, they have hand cut homestyle fries and very good onion rings. If you are in the Lakeway are and looking for a burger, you will not be disappointed.

Best hamburger ive tasted in years! Fries were not all limp like most places. They were crispy on the out side and soft in the middle. I had the "Humpty" and would recommend it to everyone! Stop wasting money at Wendys, McDonalds or any where else that pretend to make hamburgers! Not sure who Sandy is, but i would date her just so she could cook me food!!

It can be good, but it depends a lot on whos in the kitchen; sometimes its great, other times its straight-up bad (stale chili, soggy fries, a million pickles on your burger, ketchup with a strong vinegar taste and smell, etc). When everything goes right, the burgers are pretty good, but they lose a star for lack of consistency.

Picked up a taco salad today. Lets just say, that will be the last time. Tortilla was burnt. There was so much grease in the bottom on my container that it soaked back into the tortilla and made it soggy. Not sure why I keep giving this place a chance but pretty sure Im done now after this experience.

Super Burger the old fashioned way. Double meat, bacon, and cheese, fries, and drink $10.00 and some change. You cant complain about that. Hey people a lil greasy hamburger is all American. If you want your "PINK SLIME" mystery meat burger go to your high end places, or McDonalds!

Love Sandeez! The staff is friendly, helpful and awesome! The food is always delicious... menu has many options and the burgers are creative and yummy! Great side options. Great milkshakes.. The queso is a must. Sandeez is an excellent place!

Absolutely delicious burgers with a lot of variety. The decor is cute and vintage-y. Sometimes they have car shows on their lots with lots of cool vintage cars. Id say the pricing is reasonable for what you get.

Had a great experience here on a last ditch effort for a good lunch. Great food, great service, great times. Got lucky enough to catch a car show here too. Would recommend for anyone wanting a good burger.

Quirky, old style hamburger joint. Wide selection of burgers, unusual environment. Go by for lunch on Fridays to see the old cars that meet at Sandys. Very cool.

Cute spot...but $9 bucks for a greasy burger with only cheese and jalapenos seems a bit ridiculous. Add in a warm beer for a less than pleasant lunch.
