I blame Pluckers for my weight gain. I blame Pluckers for clogging my arteries. I blame Pluckers for the ladies that run away from me for having Garlic Parmesan breath. The truth is though...never before have I tasted something so unhealthy, yet so delicious. No matter what kind of day it is, Pluckers is a great casual wing place. Many come here during sports games, especially during football season. Pluckers also host Trivia night (Wednesday) and Wingo (Thursday) which are great for groups. Their wings are mad tasty. My favorites are Garlic Parmesan, Spicy Ranch, and Honey BBQ. I highly recommend getting the Holy Macaroni (fried macaroni sticks); it comes with ranch and a strawberry chutney thats irresistible. Ordering 15 wings usually gets me full. Pluckers is usually busy during dinner times so prepare to wait 20-30 minutes to be seated. With that said, their foods can be inconsistent; my wings were sometimes dry and not hot, same with the waffle fries and sides. Despite this I still would recommend eating here because their wing sauces are amazing. If youre up for a drink, the Toxic Frog is a great sweet drink (weird green witch cauldron-like color). Advice: Get a Pluckers Club Card (you get great discounts and free food). For the UT students, take advantage of the 5 Free Wing coupons during football season. Parking garage is free if Pluckers validates your parking ticket.

In all my years of worldly wing-eating, Ive never experienced perfect, but this is as close as you might get. Lets go full disclosure. Is this in the middle of the college scene? Is it so popular that its a chain? Are many the servers here fresh-faced or inattentive at times? And, is it overpriced? The answer to all these questions is a resounding, emphatic YES. Heres the positives youre getting: Big, wonderfully crispy wings. The best bleu cheese around. Sports on (most) big screen TVs everywhere (do you really need to dedicate 1/4 TVs to promoting your Pluckers Club?). A serviceable selection of beers, in sizes big and small. Some really delicious unhealthy food. And, by contrast, the most filling salads around. Southwest Caesar is my guilt-free go-to. The overall experience tends to be better than any other Ive found. Ariel and Bridget are some of the best servers here and I ask for them every visit. Jereme was excellent as well but he has since departed for greener pastures. An honest bit of feedback for management: Improve your customer service. Emphasize being personable, attentive, friendly and HUMAN to your servers. Your food may be good, and your customers may come and go, but too many bland, substandard service experiences will sour the overall experience (i.e., dropping food at tables impersonally, forgetting drinks, indifferent check-ins).

The food was not very good. It is nowhere near the quality or flavor of Buffalo Wild Wings. Im happy I used my free wing coupon from the football game, because otherwise my bill would have been over $20.00 for 2 orders of 5 wings and two sodas. The service was absolutely terrible. It was by far the worst I have ever received at any restaurant. It took over ten minutes to get a soda refill and every question I had was met with a very condescending tone and answer. The waitress I had was lucky that they have mandatory 17% tips on groups of 6 or more. I was also very taken aback by the rules that the membership club places on you--such as only one person per table being able to get points off of everyones meals, even if you are paying separately. Do not sign up for the Pluckers club, it is a total waste of money unless you plan to go every weekend (which I would also advise against) and I felt very bad for my friends who did and were tricked. In short, stay away and save your money.

Ive tried pluckers a few times and every time i had a bad experience. The food is extremely overpriced, and chances are the food will come out dry or cold. Ive had cold wings, dry boneless wings, and a dry chicken cheesestake.. And when i asked for more sauce because the food was SO DRY THAT I COULDNT EAT IT, they CHARGED ME for the sauce!?!?! This place has no idea about customer satisfaction!! One time my server forgot to put in my order for 45 minutes!! i just thought that they were really busy and the food would be out soon. Turns out the server FORGOT TO PUT IN MY ORDER .. FOR 45 MINUTES!!! Most of the servers there are college drop out material! Big Bites is sooooo much better. Im going there from now on!

Pluckers is really good!! I come from Houston and the place to go to get some wings are from Wings and More, and I was afraid that coming to Austin I wouldn’t find a place to would get close to Wings and More. The Pluckers that I went to however, was very small, I think that that was probably that bad part of this experience that I had because it seemed that we were very crowded and it was distracting to not being able to be as comfortable. The service was great and the price was perfect for us students! They have a lot of variety as well, with coupons and specials that are always a plus, and even if you are not hungry once you’re there all of that changes! 5 out of 5 stars!

Let’s admit that being located in UT area, Pluckers is expensive. And when you spend that kinda money you expect your food to be good. I am a student at UT, and due to studying late and hectic work hours, I have to eat a lot at Pluckers because they are usually open late. But every time I eat from there, Jesus it messes up my stomach real bad. Like instant diarrhea (excuse me). I have been trying to complain about this but then I realize this is what it is. Their revenues are too high to worry about hygiene. But what I can do is try to spread this word out their so that someone will pick it up from here and do something about it.

Pluckers is down the street from me and that can be a wonderful and a bad thing all at once. This is one of my favorite places to eat at because of its wings and the fried pickles. I am kind of addicted to fried pickles thanks to them! Yes, their prices can be a little pricy but its worth getting their pluckers card. Their service can be hit or miss because it is so packed all the time. So dont expect all the attention on you especially if you go during game days. Sometimes their wings can be a little dry but thats only happened a few times. Overall, its Pluckers so itll always be a 5 in my heart!

Ive been to Pluckers several times. Its way overpriced (about 10 bucks for five wings and fries) and trivia night is annoying. The host is some RTF major with a microphone that just runs his mouth all night long. He thinks hes pretty funny. The place is always packed. The host staff makes it really difficult for me to want to go there because they act like seating is a big project if the entire party isnt at the restaurant at one time. Its really irritating. Also, the wait staff seems to have difficulty splitting up checks, even though they are located in a predominately student populated area.

If you go to UT, you pretty much have to go to Pluckers. Its one of the only restaurants that is walking distance away when you live in West Campus. They are open late, and its the perfect place to go to watch a game. I love their themed nights; they have a bingo night, trivia night, and even a karaoke night. Ive been to them all and had more fun that I thought possible at a wing bar. The service has always been great and the people are incredibly kind. Whenever youre feeling gluttonous, this is the place to go since you can basically get just about anything deep-fried.
