Seems like what I am going to complain about is also some other people already experienced (in other comments). In Austin for over 10 years, this is the first time I am making some negative comment. We called around noon to make a reservation because we think it is Friday night and we have a one-year-old baby, but they said no need to make a reservation just walk in and they will sit us. Ok, so we went around 6:20 p.m. and noticed already people in line. We were concerned about the wait, and they told us the wait will be around 25 or 30 mins. So we decided to wait and give it a try. However, they seem to have a problem in combining two tables to make a six- people seats (5+1), and they sit everyone else but us. In the end, we waited for more than one hour and then they told us there are only outdoor seats. Seriously, Texas heat for one-year-old baby to sit outside. We made our complain to the manager, but her answer was "Sorry there is nothing I can do." The experience is horrible. They need to have someone with more experience in managing the table and seats.

Have been going to Flores for almost two decades. Last night we ordered the usual house margarita, but when it came it was in a different glass, had a lime, orange, and cherry. I asked the waitress if this was their house margarita, and she said yes. I didnt like this one, as it tasted too fruity. I asked the waitress again if it was the house margarita, and again she said yes. Just then another waiter walked by with the house margarita I have enjoyed for years. I sent the more expensive fruity one back, and got the house special. She did the same thing to the table behind us. I dont appreciate being up sold without permission, or being lied to.

Service has gone south. This place used to be awesome. Waited for 45 minutes for a 5 top table when HALF the restaurant was empty. Host said there were no 5 person tables available. Had to explain to host how to combine two of the many open tables to accommodate our group. Took a total of 2 hours from time of entering to time our food was served. Food was cold, and they were out of rice. Never heard of a Mexican restaurant not having rice. Appears they have staffing issues. Used to like coming here when visiting Austin but the service was so horrible I do not ever want to go back.

Visiting a friend in Lakeway and they insisted on this place for dinner. As soon as we walked in the gaudy decor hits you in the face. 4-5 waitstaff were bellied up to the bar drinking margaritas and just stared at us with blank stares. What can I say? The frijoles were from a can, The taco meat was like alpo. The enchiladas were the worst I ever eaten. The fajita nachos looked like they were made by a drunk person with no training in kitchen or food service. The food was the worst(at ANY restaurant), flavorless and bland. If you enjoy Mexican food just stay from this place. Its laughable.

Food is delicious and authentic. Service is on point. Had our drinks within minutes. Not sure why the complaints on service. Im guessing its the clientele who have uunreasonable expecations and demand immediate attention. Ive had my share of mexican food and this is good food. Again, not sure what the clientele is used to but everything was great. I will definitely be making the trip to give them my business. Angie was awesome!! Very attentive and checked on us frequently.

I have been going to the Lakeway location for years but, it has continously gone down hill. I may have had decent service one out of the last 15 times I have been. The staff consistently acts like you are a bother rather than a client. I finally think I have had my last visit. The waitress could not have been ruder or less attentive with very few people in the restaurant my last visit.

I have been twice. 1st time enchiladas were dripping in grease. Terrible 2nd time Chips terrible bent in half due to grease. I asked for a fresh basket but they were worse. Mole too sweet on enchiladas. We arrived 45 min before closing and waited 15 min to get service. We had to have someone leave our table to get a waiter. Bad service, bad food. Sorry

I used to love this place until the bartenders accused me of not tipping enough. This used to be my go to after work but not I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT INTO THIS Establishment. I tipped $7-$10 dollars every time I went in. Sketchy wait staff who asks to borrow money from you when you are trying to just enjoy a beer.

This is the place for Friday night Margaritas. Loud, busy and bold. The kiddos playground keeps everybody entertained and the Lakeway Flores has really established itself as the community hang-out. Its not only about the drinks as the Salsa is the best in town however its hard to stop once you start!

May be food is good, never had chance to try it. Called early and was told "we will find table for you no need for reservation". When we got there was told to wait 20 - 25 min end up leaving after waiting 1.5 H. Staff is incompetent especially 2 hostesses at front door.

Waited 45 mins for food and everyone else finished. Ordered a chicken burrito. Asked them to take home and they gave me beef chichangas. The waitress looked at me like I was crazy when I asked her if this was a chicken burrito. Really!

Great food and great atmosphere. I have two young kids and enjoyed the patio playground. Friendly staff and great prices. Im vegetarian, and the staff was knowledgeable and courteous. We will be back!

Unlike the other locations my family and I have been, this particular one lacks the cleaningnes and the service we expected. Not really happy about the experience nor the food weve been served today.

Get a big bowl of Queso Completo and a Negra Modelo to start. Litos Plate or the enchilada plate with chicken and verde sauce, that is all i ever get when I go there and it has always been good.

ordered carne guisada for lunch today, it was barely warm, I should have sent it back, my intestines revolted within 30 minutes after lunch. sour stomach all day. I will not eat there again

They have pretty good queso but nothing theyere is really that great. I;ve heard of miltiple people getting their credit card info stolen from there though so beware!

This place is a weekly hangout for me and the husband. Great place for the 5 yr old grand daughter to hangout to play since she didnt have friend in the neighborhood.

Forgettable ordinary mid to low grade Mexican food. Fajita chicken meat overcooked and dry. The rice and beans were good. The server completely lacked enthusiasm.

Strange that this location is no where as good as the one on north 620. Fajitas were terrible. Ill continue to go to the other location rather than here.
