This is the PERFECT definition of a "Hole in the Wall" restaurant. It is small, very limited seating, but spaced in a very cozy fashion. The decor alone makes you think outside the box, yet very tasteful. This is just what I noticed walking in. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted very warmly, as if we were friends that havent been seen in a while. When we sat down, as it is a seat yourself type of place, we immediately felt welcome. We ordered a variety of food, to include the hummus, crack-a-roni, black eyed peas (for luck), the Nickel Grilled Cheese and the Burger of the Week. There was absolutely nothing to complain about, from the presentation on the plate to the taste of the various foods. All the foods paired very well with each other, in manner of flavor combination. Yet all the foods had their own incredible and very unique flavors of their own. All this being said, it was a very enjoyable experience and I greatly look forward to my next outing to this venue, as it has now taken a place among my favorites. For all the Star Wars fans out there, just an FYI, this venue is Owned and Operated by a member of the 501st Legion.

The meat, vegetables, & fruit delivered fresh every day. The Chef cooks each dish perfectly. No other place in Arlington can compare with the quality nor the extraordinary culinary experience. Truly amazing, worth every penny, and every delicious bite! You simply cannot stay away! Best Food, Best Burger, Best Meal found in this area of Arlington, Texas. Seating is limited, no reservations accepted. But then again, customers are willing to wait for an opening. Take-out available (call 30 minutes ahead). Lots of parking available, though much of the time perhaps close to capacity. The major difference is, it is all prepared by a true Chef from Dallas, and NOT a fry-cook! The menu is not always the same, necessarily. But the food regardless is remarkable and extremely tasty. The Chef has a way of making very creative yet subtle flavors come alive in the always delightful dish for each and every customer! Try it, go there, youll be happy you did!

Before my friend and I went to see War for the Planet of the Apes, we agreed, despite not being particularly hungry, to grab a bite. Using Yelp (ironic isnt it?), we found Fork In the Road and stopped for a quick bite. Without asking what it was, I ordered the soup of the day, putting an immense amount of faith in this restaurant. In the end, I was given broccoli and cheddar (within the wheelhouse of quality soup), and a glass bottle of sprite. The soup was quality enough. Few restaurants put thought into the soup of the day; Fork In the Road put more than average thought. However, the salad my friend ordered was just OK, which was disappointing, but Im not the fool who ordered it. All in all, War for the Planet of the Apes was 5 Stars, best Apes yet; Fork In the Road was 4 stars.

I had "The Rooster." The ciabatta bun was an excellent choice. It is soft, but strong enough to handle a good deal of condiments. Im not a huge fan of spicy hamburgers, this aioli was perfect for the sandwich, which was about as spicy as black pepper. Burger had great flavor and was cooked to perfection (medium well), especially with the Muenster and applewood smoked bacon. Fresh cut potatoes were used for fries, which were perfectly seasoned as well (didnt even need ketchup). They had Hunts (go figure)! Kept it healthy by adding lettuce and tomato, used no ketchup (they used Hunts!) , and had a large water. Great hidden gem. Will definitely return for more menu items like the crack-a-Roni, gorilla biscuit, tuna melt, and the nickel g.c. (grilled cheese).

Very "Austin-ish" which is a huge compliment. I search out these little whole in the wall eateries and am very glad to have found this one. Food is very fresh, homemade to order. Sandwiches, burgers, soups, salads, & desserts are excellent. Fries are fantastic, but would like to see some alternatives. Service is great given the fact that the waitresss have to weave in and out of just a handful of tables in this small, but cozy restaurant. My daughter asked me while were eating was this place a dinner, drive in or dive because you expect to see Guy Fieri walk in at any moment. The take-out business is just as busy. Good find. Check them out.

AMAZING! I rarely leave reviews- but this place is worth it! Tried it based on the reviews and so glad we did. I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich. Its the best grilled chicken sandwich Ive possibly ever had. So delicious. The only thing Ill do differently next time I order it is ask for the buffalo sauce on the side because it got a little spicy for me. My husband got the award winning Muenster burger. He loved it! I tried it and it was delicious. Service was great, good environment too. It was really small but thankfully we got there early enough to be seated right away- other people had to wait outside to be seated. Definitely coming back!!

We were starving tonight and after deciding to go rogue, when nothing on I-30 peeked our interest, Google led us here. I knew wed get there by 8:40, but hoped with 5 people looking for food, wed get fed. We were finishing up A fun filled weekend in Dallas. Although, we ordered our food to go, we were fine with waiting and it was ready to go by 9. EVERYTHING was Yummy, the Crack and Mac was Devine, pulled pork was sublime, Gorilla sandwich was so good, and the chicken sandwich needed more cranberries, but the dessert made up for my love of dried cranberries. So Glad We Went on an Adventure for dinner. Thank You!!!!

Fork in the road is really a (cool) hole in the wall - its easy to miss this place, but you wouldnt want to! The truffled crackaroni is true to its name, sinful and delicious. I had the Rueben, prob the best I have had. It was generous, and I liked the subtle twist of the jalapeño thousand island. My hubs had the gorilla biscuit, a wrap with ham and corned beef, which he really liked. Both came with fresh cut fries. Clearly we werent the only people who liked this place - it was packed with patrons of all ages and demographics, and deservedly so. Great local place!

When I walked in I immediately feel this is a unique place and something welcoming. The atmosphere is great, the music is great, and on the wall are some interesting pictures mixed with cymbals and action figures (not dolls). Their menu is mixed with familiar entrees and some very original ones. My friend describes the place as a restaurant in your best friends man cave. The crack-a-roni and cheese is fantastic, their burger of the week really surprised me and the creme brulé peanut buttercup was satisfying as well. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

What great food, what a great sandwich, the Crack-a-roni, wow is all I can say. One of the best meals ice ever had as far as flavor goes. Good value, good food, good, good, good. I will come back here often. The was a wait as the shop is small but worth it to me. The servers have greats attitudes for being so stinking busy. The quality is top notch I will save room for dessert next time. As everything else I tried was off the hook. Im excited to go back next time in on this side of town.
