Food is always fresh and a prepared perfectly at this location. El Fenix is the standout brand for high quality Tex Mex. Thankfully, this location is operated by people of Mexican decent who grew up in Texas. I know this because the manager comes up to my table and chats with me every time I go, he clearly cares very much about his establishment. The legacy of 90 years of ownership by the Martinez family of this brand continues on today and you can feel it when you walk in here - specifically in how much pride they have in their food.

Brandon has been at this location for years and does an excellent job!!! Management however needs an overhaul. The lady manager, Saccorro, yelled at our waiter not once, but 4 times in the 3 years we have been visiting this location, and yelled at him IN FRONT OF US!!! We always have a great time there and enjoy the excellent customer service Brandon gives us.

Really good food and a wide variety to select from.. Salsa is amazing! Service is usually good, except this past weekend. Had to wait a while just to get my check and a to go box. Then when I went to pay with the bill given to me, it wasnt even the totaled bill. Please get it together because it really is a great restaurant.

Come here semi-regularly for a philosophy Meetup. I appreciate the private room they have for the event, but the food is pretty mediocre Tex-Mex in a crowded field, and I cant see myself coming if I didnt have the Meetups as a pretense.

I have been eating regularly at El Fenix for more than 65 years. I especially love the Wednesday Enchilada dinner special. Also try the bean and cheese nachos, tamales and Rositas Taco Salad (the one that includes refried beans).

The queso tasted like canned cheese, the salsa tasted just like canned salsa (yuck). Not to mention the prices are way too high for nasty food. That was the first time and the last time my husband and I ever eat there.
