My boyfriend and I usually go here once every other week for some lunch and today I went by myself to grab my usual wonton soup. Now, normally I would have stopped coming here after the first visit b/c the customer service is so bad but their wonton soup is about the best you can find in the Carrollton/Addison area. I walked in to New New at 2p.m. and I left at 2:24p.m. with the wonton soup I prepared. The woman at the register demanded money up-front, threw me the cup and walked away. I walked to get my soup and like usual, there were no wontons. I told this super pleasant woman that there were no wontons and she looked at me like I couldnt figure out what number went in-between 2 and 4. She walked to the kitchen and then back out right past me and about 20 minutes later I finally could grab my lunch. Now, I proceeded to the front where one of the waitress is sneezing all over the credit card machine and about 5ft from the buffet line. Trying to dodge germs, I get to the front to grab a plastic bag and I wait behind another woman who is paying. As she is signing her receipt, a man walks in and guess who the wonderful cashier helps next.... yep, the man who just walked in (even though I am standing in front of him)!!! So when she gets back to the front I have to literally yell my question b/c she has now ignored me again. She throws me a bag and walks away. I am now furious and say "this is by far the worst customer service I have ever received". She looks back at me and simply says with a giggle "OK" and walks away. If I were you, I would spend my money on a restaurant that at least says hello and keeps sick employees from customer and food contact. My boyfriend and I usually go here once every other week for some lunch and today I went by myself to grab my usual wonton soup. Skip this place and drive a few blocks to Lins Asian Buffet - they wont let you down like this place did. Dont let the fake reviews on their site fool you, this is an average to less than average Chinese buffet with limited selection. Even dinner wasnt any different and still cost more $. The biggest issue I had was that their white rice isnt kept in a rice cooker but left on a steam plate on top of a paper towel... it was dried out and had an odd moldy taste to it. I asked for some new rice which I watched the server bring out from the kitchen and still had the same taste. Very small, only 2 buffet tables for actual food while they have 2 for salad/fruits alone. TOO disproportionate and probably the only way they made profit. For dinner, there were no crab legs no shrimp no bbq or anything out of the ordinary than what youd expect at a cheaper lunch option. Bathroom is disgusting and in the handicapped loo stall, there were large white buckets which had food in them. Bathroom is not supposed to be the storage!! There was a lot of noise coming from the kitchen as well if you sat to the back. I wouldnt even take out from here :(

This has to be the worst Chinese buffet I have seen in YEARS! The selection was awful, the food that was presented was greasy and tasteless, there was not a single beef dish out and the only pork was those tiny, overcooked, candied short-ribs. Pathetic. I had one plate and then just paid and left. I was outraged to find out, at the register, that my one terrible plate of tasteless greasy chicken and tiny shrimp cost 12.25! Who the hell do these people think they are? I could have eaten at Pei Wei for that price! Whoever is giving this place good reviews is either being paid to do so or are just morons. The only thing that stood out were the oysters. They were the biggest oysters I have ever seen. Unfortunately, I was too put off by the quality of everything else to trust that the shellfish would not kill me.

I have to say I was shocked by this restaurant.. been looking around for a good Chinese buffet in the Dallas area for a while and saw this listing.. I usually choose based on the ratings of the first dozen reviews if they are 4 or 5 stars.. so when I went here I was shocked and the 1 stars were correct.. nice staff and atmosphere but kind of felt like a early bird retirement type restaurant. Then the selection of food was horrible! Half if not more was desert and salad bar selections.. then you had the sushi.. This is a CHINESE BUFFET!! How do you only have about 4 different types of sushi served on 2 trays? They might of had more (I got there at 4:30?) But I only saw 4 different kinds and they were almost gone.. so not going back again was not worth $12.90 for 1 dinner and drink...

Going to a buffet their are not high expectations. Unfortunately this place managed to come under even that. I went about 8:30pm they close at 9:30. The selection of food is not very broad. Most of the food was lukewarm and bland even for a buffet standards. I got some kung pao beef and it was raw in part of it. They did keep my drink filled and removed plates promptly though. Nothing was tasty at all. The manager? was playing on a phone when I walked in sitting down. I left after having 2 plates and trying about 13 different items. Quite possibly worst experience i have had at a Chinese style buffet ever. I would not recommend it at all to anyone was pretty terrible.
