My rating is based off of two visits a few months apart from each other during lunch and dinner. The staff on both occassions were friendly and immediately drink orders are happening before sitting down. The dining room area was clean and there is a solid amount of selections from the usual items you would expect to a Mongolian Grill area with solid selections and a sushi area with a sushi guy on deck keeping them rolling, literally. The food taste good and I like how there is a lot of seafood selections which I have posted in the photo areas tagged next to my name. Getting refills on drinks was not an issue for me nor was getting those pesky empty dirty plates out of the way. My only hangup is the ice cream area, they have some great ice cream options in the freezer but Im concerned with how you have to scoop it out on your own...which is not a problem at first until you watch how many people reach into the freezer with a scooper and do what they can to get that nice sized scoop. Not to mention some parents will let their kids that have been coughing and sneezing and whatever also dive into the freezer to get their own ice cream. On both occassions I saw unattended children doing not so sanitary things while serving themselves in the normal food area. Outside of that its a good place the bathrooms were clean and had a nice Asian theme going on inside of there. Id return but I would only suggest that they figure a more sanitary way of getting the ice cream out and enforce some kind of rule of people letting kids just reach all in the food because the parents give no effs these days.

This place was an absolute nightmare. Not only were the staff rude but their food was terrible. Out of a group of 7 people, 6 of us had to wait with empty drinks for about 30 min while the waiter stood and talked to another employee and the place was mostly empty. The food was cold, not warm at all. Me and 3 others are home sick tonight from their food. and the place was dirty, I could see little bugs through out the salt shaker. I will never be taking my family there again. The only reason why we went to test it out was because we had buy 1 get 1 free cupons, thatll be the only way they get people in there because it sure wont be the food or staff. This doesnt even deserve 1 star.

I received a coupon in the mail for 10% off so my family decided to come 28 minutes from where we live to McKinney upon arrival the outside looks unwelcoming but i decided not to let that hinder my experience the food looked great however the employees were unfriendly and didnt smile i was very upset at the taste it was mussy with no favor we even had to pay an additional 3 dollars to eat the crab legs even the crab ragoo was mussy my experience was unsatisfactory for one i left hungry and paid good money for a family of 6 the ice cream was ok not coming back

We visited The Grand Buffet on a sunday after church, the food was really good, I would had preferred them to have snow crab like many other buffets but it was nice over all, The best to my opinion was the Shushi rolls, they were being prepared in the spot and going fast, also, the mongolian grill was super, if you dont like the taste of their own prepaed food you can choose your own and if you know about food you can make really good dishes with what they offer. Over all, my family and I were very happy with the food and the service.

It was a very disappointed place to eat Asian food. Service has nearly nothing but bring a water and final bill. Staff looked unhappy at work. Food were one of the worst Asian food I experience all over the places. Meat are extremely dry and the rest of food are flavourless. I am not picky on food at all. But their food was way from my taste buds. Not recommend this restaurant at all. We should have checked Google review before we went there.

This was the absolute WORST experience we have EVER had at a Chinese buffet and there have been some bad ones! The food was terrible, the crab legs are a total joke, nothing was hot except maybe the soup. And then, we tried to use the restroom - it was not even functional, clogged toilets, filthy dirty - you wouldnt let your dog releive himself in there. We will NEVER to back and highly recommend that you choose somewhere else to go.

There was a cooked caterpillar in my wifes plate of food. We just sat down at our table and took a couple bites of our food when my wife found a caterpillar in her food. I called our waitress over and told her we were leaving, then they tried to make me pay. I told them I would not pay so they made me pay for our drinks that we took 2 sips of. Horrible experience, will not go there again.

I was really hoping it would have been better...but I was really disappointed with the food. The staff was friendly enough; about what I was expecting. My wife and I didnt feel good after and simply regret going. It was also over $40 for me, my wife and 4-year-old to eat! I could have...should have waited the line at Hutchins BBQ for that price!

I had been going here for almost 2 years. I went so often that they knew what we drank and such. And I always got my punch card marked. The last time I went in, I went to redeem my free dinner and the lady at the register said it was not valid. That the "signature" was not real. Over a $12 free meal she was very RUDE. We will NOT return

Its not that the food was bad...it just wasnt good, at all. Everything was extremely bland and flavorless, even the Mongolian grill. Service was not all that friendly, and the price was high for what you get. Sushi selection was not good. Dont waste your $3 on the crab legs either. There are much better buffets around.

We used to love this place. It was delicious and always fresh. Tonight, we were so disappointed. The lettuce was brown, the egg rolls were terrible, the chicken was very greasy and the lomein - was just awful. I assume the management/ownership has changed.....that unfortunate. We will.never be back.

Good food and the prices are right on. I have really been able to take advnatage of their card stamp thingy. There are 4 in our family so with 3 visits and we have earned a free meal. Service is good too, nice that they have tvs set up in several corners with different shows. Good food!!

Was disappointed in this this it because the food was not hot like it should have been got there at 11 oclock when it opened so I expected the food to be hot. Otherwise staff was wonderful restaurant was nice and clean and quantity of food was great.

I am an Asian American, we typically do not eat at "American Style Chinese Food places". I was invited by one of my friends living in the area. I actually like the food. better than most of the Chinese Buffet places in DFW. I give it 4 Stars.
