I quit buying lattes from coffeehouses a couple of years ago, invested in some decent equipment, and learned how to start making my own saving a whole ton of money in the process. Then I discovered this place and realized that its just down the block from me here in Addison. Im into espresso and have tried many of the staple blends out there(Intelligentsia Black Cat, Counter Culture Espresso Toscano, VCR Sermon - just to name a few) and without a doubt Addison Coffee Roasters Ethiopian Yirgacheffe blows them all away. Im able to consistently pull shots that seemingly pour for days with this stuff. It is my go-to bean and has been so for the last year. Other notable offerings suitable for espresso from these guys would have to be Rwanda Bourbon and Ethiopian Harrar depending on whatever temperature a little north or south of 200 degrees youre pulling shots at... but the Ethiopian Yirgacheffe is definitely what youll want to make the trip out here for!

I have been a customer of Addison Coffee Roasters since the original store was at the old Prestonwood mall. I believe that Richards father was the owner at the time. I have always appreciated their knowledge of the many coffees they roast and stock, the various brewing methods and most of all, the time Richard is willing to take to answer questions regarding some of the finer nuances. I think Richard has set the standard for companies in his very specialized niche market. Its truly pleasure to be a customer of Addison Coffee Roasters.

The service is excellent, and staff is knowledgeable (of course, theyre coffee roasters). Roast was even, and bean grading was very good. I was asked what I wanted when I came in, and they were kind enough to get the specific roast and origin I asked for from the back (it was not on shelf). When I got the coffee home, the beans and ground were both very aromatic and made an excellent brew. I would easily buy here again.

Its a tiny storefront, and difficult to find, but visitors will be rewarded with extremely fresh-roasted high-end coffee. On my visit, 30 coffees from all over the globe to choose from (and numerous loose-leaf teas as well). Ask to get on their list for special roastings of Kona and Jamaican Blue. Worth a special trip... these guys supply area hotels and other coffee shops with their beans, and really know their stuff.

Love Addison Roasters Coffee! It is the single reason I began drinking coffee in the first place, after first tasting a few samples provided about 5 years ago. They also have it available at Central Market now which is huge help, but the wonderful smell of beans hand roasted in in this shop, and the dedicated passion is something very memorable. Stop by there some time and enjoy!

I live close by and get all of my coffee from here. They have a large variety of different beans from all over. They also have a number of great flavored coffees. The employees are very helpful in picking out coffee if you tell them what you like as well. If youve only had grocery store coffee give it a shot you will taste the difference.

The place to get your freshly roasted coffee beans from all over the world. Highly recommend a blend of Ethiopia yirgacheffe with Sumatra or Bali. They also have a good selection of various flavored loose teas.
