In Houston, TX there are Mexican restaurants (taquerias) everywhere. Of the 10 or so that I tried, not a single poor experience. In Chicago, IL there are Mexican restaurants everywhere. Of the 20 or so that Ive tried there not a single poor experience. My Mexican friends and girlfriends growing up used to invite me over for dinner or lunch or family gatherings and I loved the food every single time. The fact is: I absolutely LOVE Mexican food. What Amigos Mexican grill microwaves in their kitchen and puts out as Mexican food left me going home sad and angry. Sad because, yet again, I have failed to find a good Mexican restaurant in my area since moving here. Angry because, all the reviews I read before going said that they served great food here. Those reviewers either have some vested interest in this business, or simply have no idea what good Mexican food is all about. Do yourself a favor, and learn how to cook Mexican food at home watching Youtube videos or something. You will get better results than going to this restaurant.

What happened here? Myself and a guest "attempted" to eat here, and couldnt even bear to walk out. We waited 45 minutes for our food and it was cold and undercooked. Finally, we told our server (who i believe may also be the manager) what the deal was and he had the audacity to try to argue with us and didnt even apologize for the poor service. A drink I ordered was comped so my guest and I got up after wasting almost an hour of our time. What a disappointment. Honestly, there are better choices for mexican in spring hill.

This food was delivered through Fooda to my office yesterday. I will say, the food was good, but unfortunately it gave me and my coworker, who got the same meal I did, horrible explosive diarrhea. Weve narrowed it down to the queso or sour cream, as our other coworker who got the food did not have any issues....she also didnt have queso or sour cream. My suggestion would be to just order your food without these things, otherwise youll experience uncomfortable consequences.

I really like this place. The food is great and the manager shook my hand and greeted me like we were old friends the second time I was there. Ive gone back and he does it every time. I really like that. Every time Ive been theyve gotten my order right the first time. Thats important to me. The only negative thing I have to say about the place is when theres a birthday...it gets loud! I know thats petty but its something to be aware of.

Absolutely wonderful experience. carnitas were moist, the way it should be. Chicken enchiladas with green tomatillo sauce ... fabulous. Decor and furnishings rustic and comfy. Clean. Staff friendly and helpful. You gotta try it! 5/8 2nd trip not so good. Tortilla soup was tomato soup with soggy tortilla strips, crispy taco not crispy. Service mediocre. We will give it another try though

I had Dinner at Amigos Friday night - and the fact that there was not a wait for a table at 6pm should have been a clue that all is not as it could be at this restaurant.... The service was terrible - I never did receive all of my meal and what did arrive was possibly the worst Mexican dinner Ive ever had. Sorry - but will never go back.... I would have given this a 0 if I could.

1. The guacamole was black... Old guacamole. 2. The tortilla soup appeared to be enchilada sauce...not chicken broth unlike the menu description. 3. The flautas were burnt.....my mom literally lost her appetite. 4. The shrimp in the shrimp cocktail were warm!! 5. The waitress seemed nice. Overall....not recommended

The service is usually good. Ive visited and had bad service before. The food is pretty good and they have a good kids menu. They were understaffed when we went last night. There was a mix up with table seating but they gave us a free cheese dip and we had a good meal.
