If it was just about the food I would rate it five stars, but the service has been terrible the last couple of times Ive been. We got my son chicken tenders and they were so hard I couldnt even tear them apart with my hands. I told my waitress and all she said was "ok" and walked away. After 15 minutes of her not bringing new ones out I asked her to take it off the bill since he couldnt eat it. She replied "no" and walked away. I went up front and told the manager who took it off the bill. Absolutely ridiculous. Today when we went we had to go find someone to get us refills because when we asked our waiter he went to the back of the room and started chit chatting with other employees for over 10 minutes. Im not a very needy customer but as a former waitress I do expect a little decency. I would be fine if I saw him extremely busy with other customers but he was just laughing and talking instead of working. Also when we first got there the hostess literally tossed our menus on the table and bumped passed us. Just plain rude.

Im traveling through and was in mood for Mexican. Luckily found this place after having to stop at the autozone nearby. There were 4 tables present at 4:30pm and I waited 8 minutes to be greeted (time from posted Snapchat even after already waiting.) Three different employees walked by me twice each, after i watched them "discuss" what to do, and I couldnt believe the lack of awareness for the absence of their fellow employee. Not only did they not come and Just take my order to facilitate guest happiness, no one acknowledged my wait or checked back except at "end" where I requested my tab...I feel unjust for the steak fajitas, which were quite above average, that has to deal with a terrible front of house crew. I feel bad for the owner for not understanding that building a good crew and having managers, who understands "tip-pool" mentality, to realize my experience sucked because the human beings that work there are incompetent and sat idly deliberately ignorant because I wasnt in "their section."

Consistently good food. Little hole in the wall Mexican food joint. Would be my favorite Mexican place, but wow the short little hostess whos been there forever who is the most unfriendly person ever, I cant overlook her. Doesnt say hi or much of anything, just assumes we are following her to a table only to watch her throw our menus on the table and just keep on walking. Cant give you 5 or even 4 stars because of her, otherwise I would. I know you know who Im talking about. Everyone who eats there or works there knows who Im talking about and that she does that and is that way. Never been to another restaurant where I was hoping someone wasnt working at that time.

This place is amazing. I have never been here physically, my team at work typically orders and picks up for us. Each time we order the food is hot and theres always plenty. Although, I personally dont eat leftover Mexican food, I made an exception with this place food. We had these sweet circle things that looked like tortillas, ( I dont recall the name of them), but they were so good. You guys keep up the amazing work

At first, I could find no flaws in the restaurant and I was thoroughly enjoying my experience with my family. The waiter was kind and got the entire order correct, and the wait wasnt long at all. But, what killed the experience were the cockroaches that we found crawling under our booth and across the wall we were sitting under. If the bugs werent there I would definitely be rating the restaurant 4 to 5 stars

I have enjoyed this restaurant for many years. I have family members that are Hispanic and we eat there often. My family is extremely critical of Mexican restaurants as that is there heritage , and they prefer this restaurant to most others because the food is always authentic . The staff is always accommodating and friendly. If you want to practice speaking Spanish they are happy to help.

We stopped on the way back from tampa we were very hungry my wife ordered the cheese enchiladas and it was cold the cheese wasnt even melted.i ordered a margarita and they charged me 16 dollars supposed to be top shelf of what , it was bunk. They make their own prices on tourist. KEEP GOING this place should not even call them selves Mexican .!

Been going here for 10+ years :) always my restaurant of choice! Queso is addictive and the food is always delicious. Pair it with an ice cold margaríta and my day is made! Love that the waiters usually recognize us and know our usual order. Staff has always been very friendly!

You can not be serious... This was the WORST Mexican food experience I have ever tasted in the United States, drinks were horrible and watered down, I mean who serves a Michelada with ice in a small glass. Just overall not even edible food had walk away from this meal. AVOID!

Not sure what the person who gave the bad review is thinking. I go there every week, and there are NO limits on refills. The staff is incredibly friendly, it is a very clean place, even the restrooms are clean! Great queso, salsa is awesome. Love it!

This is probably Pensacolas most popular Mexican restaurant. The food is OK at best but the service is ALWAYS great and you are sure to run into someone you know while eating here.
