PSA: Attention Pensacola! BOYCOTT LOS RANCHAROS on Plantation, behind the old University Mall! Me, Cambre, Jonathan, & Andy all went and had lunch there on Monday to wait out the storm! We were there for a good, solid, two-three hours because we were waiting on the rain to stop. So, when we all got our bills and brought our credit cards up to the front to pay for our bills their "internet wasnt working." So, the woman pulled out this old time carbon fiber card swiper. All four of us had a bad taste in our mouth about the whole situation because none of us felt comfortable about leaving our credit card information ANYWHERE! Well, everyone else went ahead and did the swipe thing, but my credit card was printed right at the bank, so my card doesnt have raised numbers, meaning I couldnt swipe mine. So, I gave the girl my card to take my credit card information, which she then asked to also see my Drivers License... even though she didnt ask for any one elses Drivers License. Long story short, the girl wrote my credit card information down wrong (I found this out because when I called to see what the deal was, I asked her to reread to me what she had written down and, not only was the card number wrong, she wrote down the wrong expiration date), even after I asked her to check it to make sure she had it down correctly. So, I check my bank account on Tuesday and was really weirded out that the charges still hadnt come out of my account. When I get back from lunch on Tuesday to my office, I had a message from our receptionist that said that I needed to call Los Rancharos because me and my friends walked out on our tabs. WTF?!?!? FIRST OF ALL, HOW IN THE WORLD DID YOU FIND OUT WHERE I WORKED, YOU STALKERS!?!?!?! Second, NO WE DID NOT WALK OUT ON OUR TABS! Lastly, what in this world ever made her think that it was okay to call someones PLACE OF BUSINESS and tell someone that had NO BUSINESS needing to hear about anything regarding my finances or my "credit card being declined." Let alone, making UNTRUE AND SLANDEROUS STATEMENTS TO MY BOSS by telling them that I walked out on a tab and that my credit card was declined!!!!! Regardless of if that was true, no way in HEAVEN OR HELL was it okay for them to call someones place of business and say ANYTHING about a personal matter as such. Lets just go ahead and get something straight: If I didnt have the money to go eat freaking Mexican food, THEN I WOULD NOT HAVE GONE! So, after all of that was said and done, I texted Cambre to tell them what they had done... she called me 15 minutes later and proceeds to tell me that Los Rancharos took it upon themselves to charge CAMBRES account for the balance. EXCUSE ME?! That is extremely illegal for someone to charge something to someones account that they did not consent to! Its called FRAUD and people go to prison for such things. So, after all of this was said and done and I brought them cash to pay for their petty ass $40 tab and absolutely ripped them a new one. Well, today, I GET ANOTHER CALL AT MY WORK THIS MORNING TELLING ANOTHER ONE OF MY EMPLOYEES THAT THEY NEEDED TO SPEAK WITH ME BECAUSE MY CREDIT CARD WAS DECLINED!?!?!?!? ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? Needless to say, they are a bunch of crooks and I have never felt more disrespected and down right tried in my whole life! The sad thing is that weve been going to Los Ros for YEARS! Welp, congratulations idiots! You just gained Rio Bravo a bunch more customers because me and my friends will NEVER be back! This makes me wonder who else that have done this kind of thing too and how many other fraudulent charges have they pinned onto someone that could have not even noticed? PLEASE HELP ME SHARE AND PASS THE WORD!

When we lived here 6 years ago, this was the only Mexican restaurant we would eat at...so good. Just moved back and went today. The waiter couldnt understand our order even when we pointed at the menu. The manager came out (not at our request) to ask what we ordered. We said the name of the menu item (vegetarian taco salad) and he didnt know what it was. He brought a menu over and we showed him. When the food finally came out, my toddlers ham and cheese ended up being chicken strips. They were raw inside...no joke, it was disgusting. To top it off the appetizer (cheese dip) was the last thing to come out. Dont waste your time.

This is the best Mex food in Pensacola. Dont waste yourtime with any other Mexican food Im the area. I love everything ive ever ordered from Los rancheros. The food is fresh, the service is amazing, and unlike other restaurants in the area, you can order water, and it doesnt taste as if it were scooped out of the back of the toilet. I have become addicted to their salsa! Haha. My boyfriend and I visit this restaurant offten and sadly Ive stopped ordering their cheese dip, because I dont want to gain a bunch of weight, but I recommend it if youre on a one time visit. Love love love Los rancheros!

I have been going here for over 8 years and still love it! The food is always good and hot. Every time I have had a problem I spoke with the manager who is there everyday and he fixed it and took it off my bill with asking anything. You get your food a lot faster then other places and the drinks are pretty strong compared to most places plus they have the buy one get one free every week. Over all o would rate this place a 10. Little heads up the bathroom can be nasty sometimes but other then that you wont go wrong with this place and Im pretty picky with my food and service.

It has a great ambiance, the portions are huge, and you just cant beat the price - not to mention the fact that its the best Tex-Mex you can find outside of Texas (and it even beats most of them, too!) I ran across this place on accident during one of my many trips to the halfway point between my house in Florida and my parents house in Texas. Now, every time I get to Pensacola, whether its just passing through or on vacation, I have to stop in and eat at this wonderful restaurant.

When we first arrived about 3:20pm we waited 5 min before deciding to seat our self. Then once we were seat at the bar it to the serve 10 min before even come over to ask us our order then once we order it took 20 min once they brought my food out they gave me a old tamale it was hard and when tell my serve she did try to right the wrong my the worst I have every seen service sucks. The sad about it they only had 6 customer beside us makes 8.

Both the food and the service are excellent. Their chicken quesadillas are the best tasting quesadillas that Ive ever had. They have a great combo deal on the menu as well that have very reasonably priced options. Some the options outside of the combo portion of the menu are a little pricey (the fajitas are one example). I have not tried the pricier items yet so I cannot comment on those items.
