Food was excellent. Waitress we had was nice but she really didnt come back to check on us and see if we needed anything, I felt like I was being kicked out because I had asked the waitress for a refill, she said that she would bring it right out but I notice her going to another table and not coming back. When she did come back she didnt have a refill of sprite that I asked for but she had brought us our check instead. We werent rude to her at all. Not sure if we would be going back

Softening my previous post, but still disappointed. Weve been here several times and enjoyed the food and service. Came out for lunch today and the food and service had several issues which I will refrain from getting into - I am hoping it was just an off day. Suffice it to say it was not a good experience. Time will tell if I will give them another go - I do wish them well, as they do have the ability to produce some terrific food.

We were just driving through from Nashville, noticed the sign and went in. Little did we know, we found superb food and service. The mole was scrumptious, the salsa was outta this world divine, and the sauces and meat were fabulous. So much so, in fact, that we will be making the drive from Nashville again, for no other reason than to eat at Canela. Highly recommended!!!

California was over priced for a salad with sad lettuce and a few shrimp... when we asked for dressing they only carry ranch. The Pollo Caliente was greasy thanks to the pile of under cooked chirizo, and it was obviously frozen/ processed chicken. The plain Jane tacos were sad...it takes a lot to make my husband complain about a meal.... he compared it to an MRE.

REAL MEXICAN FOOD. Look Im from Texas and grew up on real traditional Mexican food. This place is as close to home cooked as Ive found outside of my home state. The people are friendly and the food is second to none. They even have trivia during the week and musicians that play too. Go and order the homemade tortillas and tell me you arent addicted.

Ordered some Tacos, and wasnt really satisfied with the taste... Tasted as if I couldve bought the ingredients from Walmart , it looked like kraft shredded cheese, pre-made hard shell tacos, and beef you would get from taco bell... Just not very authentic. The Chips and salsa were good. But I have to say I wont be going back.

This is the best, and the most authentic, Mexican in Clarksville... PERIOD!!! Dont be fooled because its attached to a Motel 6, or is not as fancy looking as the other ones. We all know Mexican food in Clarksville is in a sorry state... Once you come here you wont go anywhere else I promise. GREAT customer service too!

This was my 2nd visit and I must say the food is very delicious. The waitress (BRENDA) who I also had on my 1st visit was very attentive, so if u visit CANELA ask for her. The food was very good, and our order came up fast, so if you have the taste for some down to earth true Mexican food CANELA is the spot to go to.

We love going to/ordering from Canelas when were in the mood for great Mexican food! The staff is always extremely friendly, the service and prices are great and the food is just fantastic. I would highly recommend going here if youre looking for the most authentic Mexican food Clarksville has to offer!

Horrible!!! Save your money, waitress was not helpful, waited over an hour before my son was served chicken strips. Didnt have some of the items on the menu and the manager was a moron. If you want good Mexican food in Clarksville you can try every other place available and be better off! No stars!!!!

I make sure to stop here every time I am in clarksville. The al pastor tacos are spot on with the Diablo side sauce. You get the sweet from the pineapple that favors the heat of the sauce. The Jamaica is great here as well. Hard to find a good Mexican restaurant with jamaica anymore.

Great Mexican food the only issue I had was the air-conditioning seemed to be turned way up. I guess not bad considering theres over a hundred degrees outside. The food was amazing the service was pretty good and the atmosphere was awesome

Hope you like loud Christian/Country music. Other than that, a great experience. The food is phenomenal and mostly authentic. Portions and prices are good. Dining room and restrooms are very clean. Staff are young but friendly and fast.
