I always enjoy my visit here with my kids. I was reading the post on here and I had the same waitress that had a hard time understanding but she was so sweet I wouldnt of dare laughed. Sometimes when a waitress is busy if we just be kind enough to say Im sorry maam I asked for SPLENDA not regular sugar. I say that because, she did the same thing to me. However, when I took the time to notice how many tables she had and the fact she was covering for someone else. It let me know to be just a little more patient. Nobodys perfect. Hope you never posted the pic. :) I feel that if Im waiting for drinks too long. I try to look at the workload of my waitress instead of being rude and I also try to imagine if it was me. Being a waitress is not easy its very hard.

They way they seat people forces longer wait times. Bathrooms (mens) had a stall where the locking mechanism was not properly functioning and unable to lock forcing door to stay open. Food was decent, but our order had to go back due to one cold meal (reheated for 30secs) and then a few other orders we had we wrong orders. (Our waitress didnt write any orders down when she took them). And last, the place wasnt as clean as you would expect. Wrappers laying everywhere, bathrooms messy (toilets very dirty), our table had sticky film, she rewiped it down which did nothing to take care of the issue.

I dont know if our waitress is having a hard time today. But she is struggling with listening. We waited 18 minutes before we even got our coffee and water(4 top) our food came 5 minutes after our food. We asked for more Splenda since there was only 2 in our sugar golder. She brought more sugar... we asked for extra sugar the 2nd time to keep things "chillaxed". She brought us a big bowl of regular sugar and a big bowl of slenda. We couldnt help but laugh after she left. Posting a pic... stay tuned

Slow, slow service. Got a veggie omlete. Sloppy omlete, yellow tomatoee, barely any spinach.Sat right away but waiting 10 min before anyone even asked me if i needed assistance. No one for a few more Minutes, then more waiting... asked hostess for my server, she said she would get my server. Still sitting and waiting...more long waiting for nothing....FINALLY the manager got my OJ. Then another from another section is taking my order...

Average IHOP. 3 Employees walked out to smoke as we were walking in. We had to wait til they were done smoking to be seated. There was only one other customer in the place when we walked in, but someone could have stayed to seat us. Food was EXCELLENT. Experience not so much. Our server said she was new. She was ok minus the smoking incident.

Food was good after a few minor fixes, but everyone seemed a bit discombobulated, for lack of better words. It was a very slow experience, which wouldnt have mattered normally, but it was late, and my kids were falling asleep while waiting on a to go container that took almost 10 minutes to get. Staff was friendly, so that was a plus.

My husband and I love this Ihop. Tues and thurs are senior discount days, 1/2 off entrees after 4pm if u buy 2 beverages. Food is tasty, our service is always excellent and manager usually stops by to make sure we are happy with our order. Cant say the same for other locations, this one has been the best one we have experienced.

Our waitress Angie was the best!...She made my day!....She was very glad to be at work..The energy that she had was Amazing.....She is the BEST waitress.....She smiled she kept asking did we need anything!.....Thank you Angie!...You made the couple from NC very happy to visit Symrna Tennessee!!

Waitress was crass in her communication, coughed and sniffled the entire time. Even asked me to help her put glasses on the table because she couldnt balance them . Then she brought our syrup over approximately 5 mins. after delivering the pancakes. The worst IHOP visit, experienced.

Wonderful breakfast location. The staff is usually friendly. Today, the main attraction was the new crepe-waffle-tacos. They are called something else but crepe-waffle-taco is pretty much on what they are. Very delicious and very filling. Our server today was very nice and attentive.

Severely disappointed in the service and food quality. The steak omelette had very little steak. As a side to go with my pancakes I ordered a slice of ham. I had to ask waitress for the ham three times and then she only brought me a half slice of ham.

Tried calling them to place an order, they would answer and then hang up on me 3 times and now when I call it sends me straight to their voicemail. Since they have no concern about receiving my order/business. I will go with Cracker Barrel down the road.

Brandon was probably one of the best servers Ive ever had. I dont think my drink was ever empty. Was engaging in conversation and had a good sense of humor. Food was punctual and amazing. Ill be coming back again.

Had Gordon as my server once. Forgot my unlimited pancakes like 5 times. Looked like he was on drugs, and didnt keep my drink filled. Terrible service. Wouldnt recommend him to anyone.

The usual, usual. Not in a fancy location, doesnt attract a fancy crowd or employee base. Average isnt bad, its just average. IHOP does have a pretty good breakfast menu.

Service has declined over the years. Food is coming out slower and the chicken is over cooked at times. Rolls are still the best in town.
