What a disappointment. Went here based on reviews - mistake. While the portions were good, the food was bland and tasteless. Not even with extra soy sauce could rescue this meal. Fried rice was dry - and tasteless, cashew chicken had very little flavor other than the celery in it (celery, really? In Chinese...?) Teriyaki chicken was grizzly and sweet, but again, lacked much flavor. Even the fortune cookies where stale. If the Fortune cookies werent bad too, i could have chucked it up to a bad day, but nope, not going try it again.

We have been eating here for several years, and the other reviewers are correct: amazing food, and super fast service. We drive here from across town whenever we want Chinese takeout! They offer free cheese wontons if you spend a certain amount, but you should order extra too! Those things never make it home! Yum. They have also been very accommodating when we have special requests (we like lobster sauce instead of egg foo young gravy, or shrimp fried rice in the combo) Just a real treat to go there. Definitely a hidden gem!

I have been eating here ever since they opened.... cant think back that far. 9 times out of 10 the food is wonderful! If you eat there, the portions are huge for the large portions. If you take-out, the portions are just a little smaller because of how they have to package it. If you like tofu, they are the best in town! Bar nun. I challenge anyone to find better. The staff are very friendly! Just like every restaurant, they have their off days... but most of the time, they are on top! Give them a try! Family owned!

China Kitchen is the go-to Chinese restaurant in Ooltewah. Very good prices. Ambiance isnt great, and meals are always served in to-go styrofoam. General Tsos is good, however they tend to drown it in sauce. Id suggest asking for sauce "on the side".

We moved to Tx about 1.5 years ago and NO ONE can cook Chinese food like these people. Incredible consistency, portions and prices. My wife and I visited TN for a weekend and guess where I went to eat first thing? Man I wish they were in Houston!

Unfortunately only after moving away did I realize how delicious the food is here. I have tried hard to find a comparable restaurant but it is impossible. There is only one China kitchen and their staff have always be great to work with.

Great Chinese food place. They offer a lot of vegetarian options on their menu. Good tofu and artificial chicken options for most of their dishes. If you call in an order, it is usually ready for pick-up in about 10-15 minutes.

For a cheap, quick bite, this is the place to go. Their vegetarian options are cheap and pretty good. The staff is not particularly chatty or ebullient, but they get the job done fairly quickly.
