Food Is So So - Dont Leave a Tip - The Owners Keep the Tip!! Weve gone to Golden China several times and the food is just ok. The female owner is normally the one who answers the phone and checks you out. Shes friendly but is very pushy and wants everyone to know how good her food is and that her husband is the cook and is a great cook. The food is just ok. Weve tried different dishes, but just cant say that anything weve tried is great. There are better options for Chinese Food In Rome. My other main complaint is that the owners do not allow the servers to keep the tips. This is a HUGE issue for me and therefore, we will not return. Attn owners: - Super bad policy, as most people who leave a tip expect that the money goes to the server who has helped them and served them.

Authentic Chinese for those who want freshly prepared food vs the stale buffet you get steered towards if you eat next to an Outback. When I entered the server asked if I was dine in or take out and I said I wanted to make sure food was good so she said to ask anyone there which I did. Everyone was a regular as were others that came in while we ate. Maple Street seems to be in the rough part of Rome but parked right up to the restaurant and Id rather my money go towards the food than the rent..... Enjoy!

Very good food but the owner is rude. Not sure if it was on purpose or if she just couldnt properly explain her menu and prices but if there was an upcharge she could put on our bill she would so WATCH YOUR FINAL PRICE. Seems like a great family business but you can tell they are watching every penny closly as they wont even give you a togo plate or cup to pour any leftovers into and when asked for a refill on drinks she said only half full. Still great tasting food.

Ive been getting my takeout from here for a few months now because my husband and I like the food. HOWEVER, today the owner yelled at me for arriving 10 minutes early to pick up my food. The food was already sitting by the register ready to go but for some reason I was not supposed to show up early? Am I supposed to wait in my car while my food sits out getting cold? I will not be going back!

Not only was the staff extremely rude but the food was over priced for the garbage they served us. We all three got different things and it was all terrible. The egg drop soup was slimy and the sweet and sour soup was dish water with a bottle of pepper dumped in. All around bad experience. Would not recommend this place!!! Go anywhere else.

The owner was ride and try to talk down to us like we a child she getting on too because the waitress miss understood us very rude and wasnt professional customers are always right at anytime of service will not go back and dont leave food because you get told thats a waste it dont matter if you pay for it you do what you want with it ...

Most disgusting Chinese food that Ive ever eaten. Had the sesame seed chicken with shrimp fried rice. Not only was it overpriced but I had to throw my food away because it could not be consumed by any human. Will not ever go there again and dont recommend anyone else to go. Id give it negative 5 stars if I could.

My favorite Chinese food in town. The owner/operator is so fun and friendly. You feel like you are going to eat at a friends house. Food is amazing and all homemade. Worth it! Even my picky kids love the food. Wednesday kids eat free and Thursday is lunch price & free drinks all day when dinning in.

The absolute BEST Chinese restaurant in Rome, Ga. Not the best location but the food and friendly customer service make it a great experience. They will alter any dish to your taste and they have the best vegetarian Chinese in town.

Overrated. Sweet & sour chicken was a small serving and very firm. Not fresh. Ran out of drink twice during lunch even though only four booths were occupied. Hot & sour soup was mostly liquid and bland. Happy Wok is 10 times better.

The lunch menu is a great bargain at $6 for soup, egg roll, rice and an entrée. Tons of parking and super easy to access with fast menu table service in a true dining room. Thursday is free drink day too.
