Thanks to the staff and Chef at Chateau West for an excellent dinner last night. I got a taste of my wifes scallops in lobster bisque sauce served over sauted polenta. It was delicious, but I was still glad that I selected the Coq au Vin. Bravo, Chef! I think it is a model correct chicken in wine, but there is no way to adequately describe it, except to order the dish. I cook a little French cuisine now and then and this Coq au Vin was exquisite. You cant get a spoonful from your dinner partner and properly appreciate the whole entree. The sauce (gravy) was not heavy, but the flavor was rich and complex. The vegetables basically reduced except for the potatoes, which were intact and great in the dish. I saw another review raving about the beef bourguignon. I have eaten it and it is excellent, but the Coq au Vin is better and more subtle. I think it is more difficult to prepare. I cook a Coq au Vin Rouge and it is NOT subtle. Thanks for superb dining experience.

The food was good. My fiancee and I ordered two different duck dishes and were both pleased. However, the service was sub-par. We were delivered water quickly, but were brushed off when we asked what mixed drinks were available. We requested a great fondue appetizer from the busser and it arrived relatively quickly, but then the waiter forgot about us for about 40 minutes--with menus still sitting on our table. There were only 3 other groups seated, so there was no reason for this. Once we ordered, our food came in decent time. The majority of the other patrons were elderly. The general decor felt dated even though its a new restaurant. But at least the music was not so loud that we couldnt just chat and have a good time.

Good atmosphere. Feels pretty sophisticated. A much nicer looking place than the businesses around it. My wife and I only tried their Sunday brunch. We wouldnt recommend it. Its not bad by any means. Very easy to get in. Not very popular. They have good food options, but everything tastes pretty plain. One of us had an omelet and the other had their steak eggs Benedict. Stay away from their coffee. Its probably the cheapest tasting in town. Its in line with the royal cup coffee at work. We had memosas and they were ok. They use cheap orange juice for them though. Well come back when we dont want to wait in line for 45 minutes or more at the popular brunch locations.

We arrived a bit before our reservation time and were seated immediately. From the hostess to our server the service was excellent! I especially enjoyed the fact that when I asked for a recommendation on a red wine our server asked to be excused to ask his manager because he did not know which to recommend. Nthis showed me that the customer is important enough to get it right. He came back with 2013 Bourgogne it was delightful and mixed well with not only my appetizer, escargot, but also with my entree, 7 hour lamb shank. I highly recommend eating here any chamce you get. It is fine dining in a casual atmosphere

We have eaten there 4 times and have had a very good experience each time. The food is quite good and the portions are appropriate. There is a nice selection on the menu and each dish lived up to our expectation. The bread is especially good although it is a little thin for traditional french bread. The service is very friendly but not always as professional as might be expected at a white table cloth french restaurant. The presentations are very attractive and the selection of deserts is wonderful. The wine choices are very good down to the house red and white. .

This was my first experience with French cuisine, and I must say I was very impressed! I ordered the blackberry salmon and it was delicious! Everyone at our table seemed to be happy with what they ordered. One of the girls in our group has recently been to France and she said that her boeuf bourguignon dish was very legit. We received great service. I want to go back for dinner, so that I have a more expansive menu and order the spiced lamb chops, and perhaps a dessert.

Chateau West is such a beautiful, beautiful restaurant with an intimate atmosphere. Our server, Robert, was so helpful explaining the menu and recommending options. Our appetizer, le tartare de boeuf, was to die for and the chateaubriand was ammaaazzzzinnng paired with a bottle of bouissiere gigondas. The combo of service, atmosphere, an amazing menu and chef will definitely have us visiting again <3

The service from our waitress was awful. She was new and we felt that she was uncertain of herself and not very attentive. The food was just ok and not really over the top. My friend wanted a true itilian bistro and it just wasnt as good as she was expecting. I also received food poisoning and when I called to tell them. He acted like nothing had happened. We will not be going back.

Eaten dinner there twice and have booked a third. It is quiet enough to be able to converse comfortably without shouting, even with a packed house of 30 tables. Some reviewer wrote that it was too loud -I couldnt disagree more. Beef Bourguignon excellent. Great menu. Still working out some kinks, but it is a great place to go, with very reasonable prices. A winner!

My family dined here recently and we loved everything about it. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and friendly, attending to us with a warmth that made us feel truly welcome. Everything we tried was delicious (bouillabaise, foie gras, mussels, and more). I especially recommend the bouillabaise and the napoleon & creme brulee desserts. We will definitely return.

Have dined at this restaurant a few times for lunch and once for dinner. The service has consistently been excellent. The food has consistently been delicious and reasonably priced. Great place to take business associates, a group of friends or an intimate dinner for two. Would highly recommend.

We chose Chateau West after being disappointed by another nearby restaurants menu. We were pleased by my sponteous choice. The food was lovely, service was fine. A lovely low key find. I have recommended to several friends and look forward to visiting again.

Superb service, as always, from Darrell (hopefully spelled correctly). Always vigilant staff. Lunch special: grilled Grouper, haricots verts, wild rice and generous lemon beurre blanc worth every bit of $17. Most at table got crepes ($10 range) and raved.

We brought a group of 17 for a lunch at Chateau West. We coordinated in advance with the restaurant and both the manager, Dino, and the owner, Huseyin, were so helpful and great to work with. The food was excellent and all of our guests had a great time!
