I visited this place because it had high reviews and was right off the highway. . Theace is a bit low-end. My wife and I stuck out like a sore thumb, simply because we were probably the only people in the place with a full set of teeth in our mouth. We are both not a fan of drawing attention, so felt uncomfortable at first. Then the waitress brought us some menus, which was half professionally printed and half hand-written. We just wanted quick bites so we ordered sandwiches for us, and kids chicken fingers for the Lil ones. The waitress was extremely nice to the kids and attentive to my family. The food was quick and delicious, and the kids even got a dessert with their meal. I made sure to tip the waitress extra for her hospitality. The atmosphere was very redneck, as if it were commissioned by Larry the Cable Guy (before he was rich), and felt dirty. I considered turning around and leaving as soon as I walked in. But Im glad I didnt. I dont consider myself a snob: I frequently eat lunch at mexican restaurants which used to be gas stations, with grease stains on the ceiling and gas pumps converted to parking spots for to-do customers. I consider my standards pretty low, and this place made me feel slightly uncomfortable. However, I left with a full, satisfied belly and two happy kids. I just hope the owner works on their atmosphere/decor in order to attract and keep any customers passing by.

This is my regular local diner. I first ate here when I bought my home in this neighborhood back in 2009. Everything was terrible. The aging owner was allowing the place to go downhill. When he passed away (God rest his soul!) the new owners took over, cleaning the place up AND greatly improving the meat-and-three menu as well as the rest of the items on the general menu. Very popular locally for breakfast, lunch and dinner. My favorites are the catfish and the desserts. There is pull-in room behind it for big rigs with a hotel next door as well as an RV park. NOW has the Saturday Morning Bluegrass and Gospel jam from 7 AM on. Also, some Fridays there is free Bluegrass music. Call them to find out for sure. FRIDAYS is all you can eat catfish!

We had grilled catfish and it was good (could have gotten it grilled, blackened, or fried)!! We had two adults and two kids and all left happy!! Kids were very happy with their food as well. Good home cooked food. Good prices and wonderful home town customer service!! Happy family after a long day of travel.

Super yummy food. Could be cleaner (ketchup bottle at our table looked like someone with motor grease on their hands had used it, and a new coat of paint would help brighten/freshen up the dining area).

Very nice people. Menu needs a little work. For just traveling through I felt the menu was little difficult to understand. The carrot cake my husband and I shared was very good.
