Solid Mediterranean food sold here but I have had better. I ordered the gyro platter served with hummus, yellow rice a side salad and gyro meat. The portion size was sizes were adequate for lunch. The rice tasted a bit light and lacked flavor/spices. I also felt the hummus was bland and watered down. The gyro meat was okay, unfortunately, it also lacked that flavor pop Im accustomed to with traditional greek and was bland for my liking. The place its clearly liked from the ratings and there was a steady stream of people coming in for lunch. You order at the counter and then take a seat. Service here is quick and the staff are friendly, courteous and professional.

I went to this place last night right before closing. They let me in & were patient while I ordered. I took my food to go, & when I got home I realized the order was wrong. I called, thinking Id leave a vm, but they answered. Sam/Sameh went over and beyond to make it right, and I got my food corrected that night, even after they were technically closed. I am so impressed with the customer service. No where in Nashville compares to this. On top of that, the food was excellent! I had falafel with lentils/rice on the side - it was absolutely delicious. I wish I could give them 6 stars - this place is that good.

my first visit..... = 2.5 stars - the chicken was delish... but i thought the veggies were a bit soft, especially the cucumbers. the lettuce didnt appear to be romaine, as the menu indicated. i didnt expect the common hamburger pickles... the killer issue was the 25 cent charge for the wheat pita bread....so, whats 25 cents , its nothing! but it appeared to me to be less than transparent that i would be charged extra if i chose wheat pita over white....the dressing was a simple vinaigrette, similar to wishbone.... i wouldve expected a more original flavor/topping.

I used to eat lunch here as much as once a week when I worked in Maryland Farms. Never had a bad meal, always fresh-made and plenty of it. Love the gyro platters, chicken shwarma, tabouli, hummus. The rice is outstanding also, by the way. The place gets crowded at lunch, but the line moves quick, and in nice weather theres a small patio with outdoor seating. Service is friendly and efficient. Perhaps worth mentioning, the owner is a Coptic Christian from Egypt, very friendly and very glad to be in America.

It is very rare to find a place that has maintained its standard in the quality department. Have been here a number of times and it just always tastes the same, like it did the first time. You cannot go wrong with any of their platters or just go for it all and get a mixed platter. The gyro is great and mouth watering. Prices are reasonable and the food hits the spot. The staff is courteous and will go the extra mile to make sure the food is to ur liking

The Gyro meat was good, but the portion I recieved had to be the smallest I have ever gotten on a gyro sandwich anywhere. My gyro sandwich only had three very thinly sliced pieces of meat. The half a tomato slice on the sandwich was larger than all the meat put together and it was cut about a 1/4 of an inch thick. Joe Pesci was right in Lethal Weapon, You always get "F#%ked in the drive thru!" I had gotten my meal to go.

Anytime my wife and I have an opportunity to dine with friends we introduce them to Med, and sure enough, it becomes their new favorite too. The taste, quality, and presentation of the food is far better than anything else we have tried in the same category. The owner and his staff are also great folks, and we are blessed to call the friends as a result of so many visits to their establishment.

With all my respect. I think this restaurant is overrated. I visited this restaurant during my short stay in Nashville. Food was not freshly made, rice was cold, hummus was sour, and pita bread was not hot!. I was really disappointed by the quality of food served there. I hope the owner will read my review and try to improve the quality of food served.

This is my all time favorite spot for Greek food. Always enjoy the food here. I dont think there is anything special about the meats or veggies they use, but everything is just well executed consistently and the sauces they have really make the flavor Its also nice to sit on the patio when the weather is nice

the service was good. the place was clean.. but after walking there from work for a to-go order... and walking back ... I was very disappointed when I opened the box. I didnt know that meat on lettuce was such a hard recipe. I miss working downtown. The gyro guys downtown know how to put meat on lettuce.

Not much atmosphere, but really good Mediterranean food (Lebanese). The gyro platter and hummus are great. Portions are large and reasonably priced. Located off Maryland Way (Ward Circle near Joeys House of Pizza. Good change of pace. Nice staff, too.

This is my favorite Greek/Mediterranean place in the area. Its a popular lunch spot. Try the Gyro Platter with grilled onions and tomato. Its a lot of food and comes with pita bread and a drink for 8.99 (that includes tax). Im here once a week!

Absolutely fantastic food and great service where you would least expect it. Dont let the strip mall location fool you. Nashville has fancier Middle Eastern restaurants but few that offer such great value and fresh food.
