We went there for the Final Four games. It was very packed, which is understandable considering the events they were showing. We sat at the bar for about 45 minutes waiting for a table, which was no inconvenience as we were that hungry. The bartenders were very overwhelmed as it took the 4 of us almost 15 minutes to get her attention and then get our first round of drinks. We finally got a table after the first game. We sat down at 7pm. At 7:20, I had to ask a busboy if he could please locate the waiter/waitress who handles our table. At 7:30, the people across from us, who sat down after us, received their food. By 7:45, after have not been acknowledged even once by a single server, we left. It was such awful service that I am still irritated about it the morning after! They were clearly overwhelmed and understaffed. I may slip in here for a drink as the location is great, but I highly doubt it. Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend this place. Go to 5 Points Pizza right next door, WAYYY better service and food.

I recently reserved the side room for an event we hold every year. The service from management on down to the bartender was nothing short of amazing. These are extremely friendly people who want to make sure everyone is accommodated and having a great time. We thoroughly enjoy coming in a few times a week and love the "neighborhood hospitality." This time we had 40+ people in the non-smoking portion of the bar and it was the perfect fit. We had a dedicated bartender and server for our group and (Wendy) the manager kept checking in with us throughout the night. If you are looking to have a private party for around 50 people this is the place. A true local Nashville experience...not like that tourist driven fake Nashville you will find downtown. after multiple attempts to enjoy this place it seems that i always walk out (key word) disappointed! the bartender charged me with someone elses drinks on one occasion.. plus they have one of the touch tunes juke boxs and the guy at the bar will skip the song you pay for if he dont like it.. why let the customers play if you cant share you toys nicely.. i want my money back!!! oh but the foods not bad....

The food is good. I love the wings & cordon blue sandwich. The service by two of the waitress can be a little sad though. I got a 2 for 1 beer, so I left her $2 bucks & scattered change. She said you can keep the change & walked off. Hmmm, $2.60 tip for a $4 beer & I was only there for 15min. Thats good to me, but Ive never worked food service. Well, its a cool spot & the drinks are on point.

Everything is awesome including food and drink but, I will complain they got rid of their tater tots. So, I often go somewhere else like, The Pharmacy. But its one of the best burgers in the hood. Their prices are slightly above average. I think its slightly over priced, hence the 4 stars. Overall, great place.

Felt super welcomed. Bartender wasnt rude, but just didnt seem to want us at his bar. We asked for our food togo because the cigarette smell was overwhelming, which seemed to piss him off even more. East Nashville has sooo many good spots, but this one I wouldnt recommend

Totally a comfy sports bar (as long as you smoke) with good selection of beers. Food is mostly good for a bar...the wings are some of the best in town. Mellow crowd. LGBT friendly. Wait staff are surly at times, and service can be a bit slow, especially if its crowded.

Good local dive bar. Smoking is allowed so theres that. Good for 2 for 1s and sports. A pool table, golf video game, and juke box is available. The food is a very good pair for what ever beer you choose. Can get crowded on certain nights which can make service slow.

Local bar for 21 and up only. Smoking allowed. Great food and beer selection. Love going to BTE after work or on the weekend. The staff is friendly and will joke with you. I cant say enough about Beyond the Edge. Youll just have to try it.

Walked in from checking out the area. I love this bar. I was immediately surrounded by people who were interesting and fun to be around. Henry is awesome. If youve never been to East Nashville, check this place out.

If you do not mind a smokey and hipster bar then this place is good. Quality food and drinks at reasonable prices. Frequently crowded and therefore the quality of service depends. Good bar for sport fans.

I have been here before numerous times and its a good sports bar in East Nashville. Last time I went it had to much smoke for me. Im a non smoker and if you dont like the smell then just be warned.

A staple of East Nashville, this bar offers a great tap selection and pretty decent food. Be warned - it is in the five points area, so the place (and everywhere around it) gets busy very suddenly.

Good beer selection. Good size and enough seating for a sports bar. Plenty of TVs. For it being bowl season, they need way more staff to adequately serve the patrons.
