The food was fantastic, up and down. The price was fair. But our waitress was rediculous. She only did fly-bys and acted like everything was a bother. When she actually did stop at the table, which was only once, she was impatient and was bouncing her foot. At one point we had to ask for straws and bread. She threw the bread on the table without a word. We reminded her about the straws and she scouled, marched over to get them, and reached between me and my wife and slapped them on the table. The she got our food, without our appetizer. When we asked her to just take it off the bill, she acted like she was doing us a favor rather than appologizing. All this would have been forgivable, I could just mark it up as an off day, if it werent for the fact that the other tables around us werent being treated with such ire. The restaurant was top notch. That waiter needs some training.

So this place is a delight. Its now my goal to try everything on the menu. Ive tried 3 dishes so far without disappointment. Its a once a month treat being that for me and my partner to eat, ordering an appetizer, salads, entrees and split a dessert (no alcohol) with the tip its about $75-80. Its good to eat local and the service is always top notch. Its definitely busy on weekends and I try the midweek to get the atmosphere I like. They do not take reservations unless its a party of 6+. My partners favorite is the manicotti. I dont have a favorite yet, but hope to, soon.

Bella Oratorio was amazing - one of the best Italian meals weve had in the city at a good price. The staff are lovely and attentive and the food was all around delicious, from the salad and Brussels sprouts to the generous pasta. We had the house wine so we could splurge on the food and it was pretty stellar also. They got my message that it was my boyfriends birthday and surprised him with a free dessert and candle! We will definitely come back! Sabri .

Bleh. We used to like Ciao Bella generally--they had this excellent dish on the lunch menu that included spanikopita, chicken skewer, and orzo. Great, real food for the price (which was reasonable!). We went back recently and the menu had totally changed... Prices way up, dish off, and food totally mediocre. Service was terrible, food was mediocre at best (and sloppy at worst), and way overpriced. We will not be back again!! Shame

In the corner of a little strip mall, we were excited to try something new for our first trip to the University of Memphis. It was worth it! $60 for 3 of us, including 1 appetizer and 2 desserts and 1 drink. I cant wait to return next month. I wish we lived closer. Family friendly too. Casual or formal attire - patio dining area too. Fantastic staff- Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful!

They get a 2 for a nice atmosphere and the food was decent, but the service wasnt the best. For one, the very 1st thing I noticed was debris in the glass of water brought out. Next I got a refill on my water, and it was brown. The waitress later spilled oil all over the table. Due to the service, this will be my 1st and last time visiting this restaurant.

Went here with an old friend right before Christmas and LOVED it. Great wine menu and our waitress was very knowledgeable and charismatic. We got the Bruschetta Sergio for an appetizer, Avgolemeno (Greek Lemon Chicken Noodle Soup) for after, and the Piccolo Sara for the entree. All of it was outstanding, and I will be back.

Ciao Bella is a very nice place to take your friends or family out to eat. Great Italian Grill. The food is high quality, the service is top notch and the location is easy to get to. One of my top picks in the Memphis area. Totally on top of their game!

We love Ciao Bella! This is our "go to" restaurant when we just want a great meal at a great price! We have taken lots of out-of-town guests to Ciao Bella and many of them look forward to going again when they are back in Memphis!

Great service and very reasonable prices for the quality level of the entrees. An excellent fusion of Greek inspired Italian dishes as well as traditional recipes.

The food was ok but the service was terrible. It took forever for a server to come. Then he only came to check on us once. No refills or anything.

Great service. We were four and none of us liked the pizza but other than that everything was delicious. They have the best desserts in canolli.

The food was great and the price is reasonable. The patio area is really nice. They only take reservations for parties of 20 people or more.

Hostess was meh as was the manicotti, BUT the wait staff was the bomb, chopped salad was the bomb, and the blood salmon was the bomb!
