This place is nothing special, especially for the prices that they charge. Paying 15 dollars for a chicken pasta, I expected for the pasta to be at least better quality than boxed, definitely NOT the case, and even then it ended up coming out chewy and undercooked. It seems as if the restaurant is designed and priced as a fine-dining establishment, but without the freshness and flavor that you would expect for the amount of money you end up spending. I wouldnt mind stopping by there to grab a drink, but next time I want boxed pasta, Ill stop by Kroger and make my own. On a positive note, the service and ambiance of the restaurant was nice, our waitress made a point to explain the menu to us, suggesting some appetizers and making sure our drinks were always full.

I have eaten at Amerigos twice now, and have really enjoyed what they offer. The pricing is very reasonable, the staff is quick, friendly, and responsive, and the food is very good. While it wont be mistaken for an authentic NY Italian eatery anytime soon, Amerigos fixes a great menu full of variety. I especially enjoyed the Chicken Acuto with Black Bean Salsa. It was a great combination of spiciness and flavor. If you want a very good meal for a great price then Amerigo is the place to go.

This is my/my husbands favorite Italian place. Weve been in the area for over 3yrs and have been back repeatedly with positive experiences. One time my husband had leftovers boxed up and later found a few pieces of plastic in the food. We let them know and were immediately respectfully apologized to and taken care of. Always had great customer service. We love the free bread and oil. Highly recommend the artichoke appetizer. We always get at least 2 meals out of Amerigos servings!

这是我和朋友第一次来这家店,我们唯一做错的事情就是点太多,他们的量比想象中的多,一开始我们只顾着吃面包然后就差不多饱了,食物很好吃服务也超级好,我觉得每个人都可以来这试一下。

One of the better Italian restaurants in the South. This is the original Bistro, with casual and upscale Italian dining. The new owners are in the process of returning the menu to many of the original Amerigo favorites. The service is excellent, food can hardly be beat, and the prices are very affordable. I sincerely reccommend you give Amerigo a place on your dining schedule. You wont be dissappointed!

Love this place. The Ambiance is spectacular and the food is Amazing. Ive tried the Ribeye medium rare, Ive had the Goat cheese & Walnut Salad topped with grilled salmon, and the Smoked Chicken Ravioli is my favorite. Ive attended two Summer Wine Tastings & the selections are some of my favorites. I try to eat at Amerigo Italian Restaurant as often as I can.

We were just going through town. And look for a place with good reviews. We were rewarded with a wonderful Italian restaurant. The food was wonderful the service was wonderful and we had a good time. And all came out on time and it was hot. I shouldve took the pictures first before we ate it! It just looks so good we could wait :-)

Me and two friends went to Amerigo for a birthday celebration. We had the calamari and moscato. For dinner we had the Chicken Margarite, Crawfish pasta, and tortellini with jumbo lump crab meat. Then for dessert we had the tiramisu. Everything was delicious. The service was amazing. We will go back again as soon as possible.

We love the food here. It has a great atmosphere and have yet to have a bad experience there. The wait staff is awesome, very attentive to your needs, we never have had to ask for anything before they take care of it, such as refills or more bread, etc... Make sure you have the tiramisu for dessert, its great.

The food was very good, but the wait times on what times on what was clearly a slow day were completely unacceptable 20 mins before we even saw a waiter who wasnt even our server is not ok and on top of that another 10 to get our drinks is crazy. I would give them another cmshot tho because the food was good.

I havent been in the Jackson area very long, but this is the best Italian food Ive found. I ordered the chicken marsala, and it came out perfectly. I feel like they have put too many tables inside, so it feels a bit crowded. But the service was good and so was the food.

I tried two dishes there. my opinion so far is that it is honestly, truly, overrated. I had the seafood pasta and my noodles were stuck all together. The dish was 24 bucks and I am way better in the pasta-themed dishes dept. I may try again, just to compare...

Of the two Amerigos locally, this one has the most charm. Yes the tables are close together but there is an older vibe here. You can just feels that most of the patrons have been coming here for years. The food is always great and service is spot on.

This place is delicous. Have only been twice but my husband and I have loved everything weve tried. Soups are great, fish specials fantastic, and I am in love with the chicken and spinach canelloni (sorry if misspelled!). Planning to go back very soon!

Extremely crowded (too many seats), But the food is amazing. The free bread they bring out just keeps on coming if you ask for it, and the olive oil mixture they bring with it is to die for! We had the lasagna, and I couldnt have asked for better.

Ive eaten here 2-3 times. Id heard great things about it, but each time, Im dissapointed. There is nothing special about the menu, wine list, etc. The food is OK, but Carrabas would be just as good, which is sad. If you want Italian, go to Bravo.

Try their fresh squeezed grapefruit juice with a touch of salt around the glass, do not forget a little splash of vodka. Salty Dog/Salty Cat whatever you call it...it is very good. Of course the pasta dishes are great.

Food nothing special and tables are too close together to enjoy the food even if it was delicious. Tomato sauce was not spicy, needed more kick to be like Italians season sauce. Tiramisu was very good. Just go for dessert.

Great food and service. A tad bit pricey but hey, you get what you pay for. My favorite part is that the lighting and ambiance are perfect for a romantic night out with your spouse. I would highly recommend this place.

Favorite Italian food in the area. But thats not saying too much. Every other option is absolutely terrible. I am from NY so very particular about Italian food and Amerigos always hits the spot.

Pasta Pomodoro was awful with no flavor at all. Pizza was undercooked and used plain tomato paste. Yuck. The bread and butter cake for dessert were amazing though. Thats why it gets 2 stars.

Awesome food and great service at a great price! Amerigo has been dishing up fine Italian food for many years. Great place for a nice quiet dinner. The crawfish and bowtie pasta is superb!
