I remember Italian Pie fondly from my days living in New Orleans. There was a location close to my house that delivered so we frequently had their food for dinner. I was unaware that a Mandeville location had opened until searching for an open business post Hurricane Isaac. I was without power at home and wanted a regular meal without having to fire up the grill. Italian Pie to the rescue! Because they were one of a handful of open restaurants, they were packed. I had called in my order ahead of time, so it was ready as soon as I walked in. Kudos to the staff for accurately estimating my wait time despite large crowds. I ordered the baked chicken wings and a Greek chicken sandwich. The baked wings were very good. So good in fact that they were better than nearly all of the fried versions I have had. It is hard to believe that the healthier alternative was actually better. The Greek chicken sandwich was good, but not as good as I remembered. I think part of the problem was the heavy crowds, but it seemed that there was too much bread compared to the meats, etc. Had the bread been smaller, the sandwich would have been much better. If youre in Mandeville, and looking for a reasonably priced casual Italian food, I encourage you to give this place a try.

Pizza was good as Pizza Huts, but nothing more. 28.00 for what I thought was a large pizza and wings is way over priced! When I opened the pizza box I was in shock at how small the pizza was. Im sorry but I can get a "true" large pizza at Pizza Hut that tastes about the same for 10.00, and for a few dollars more get wings for less than 20.00! WAY OVERPRICED!! What I thought was a large looked smaller than a medium. It sure wasnt 14 inches as listed......so disappointed first and last time ordering from them. Italian pie???? I think not you have to do more than add italian sausage to call it an italian pie. It was plain ole pizza.

I have not dined in at this location, but have gotten take out several times recently. A couple of times my order was incorrect. Specifically, when I asked for "no onions", they put them on anyway. Not sure if its the order takers fault or the kitchen staffs mistake. Staff is never rude, but seem distracted or not interested in my patronage. I prefer the Covington location on Hwy 21. They are usually busier than the Mandeville one, but the employees are friendlier and more attentive. No order mistakes so far.

My Wife and I ordered 2 calzones by phone to pick up and they were prepared incorrectly. We called and were basically called liars. We returned the calzones to show that they were made incorrectly and the owner was rude and even seeing they were incorrect She still insisted that she thought the calzones were made correctly. No sincere apologies just acted like she was doing us a favor by remaking them. Some people should not be business owners. Never retuning back there again

I wouldnt know! Im at the Mandeville HS football game on a Friday night and called to see when they close so that maybe my family and I could go there after the game. They close at 8:30 pm on Fridays. Thats pathetic! They obviously dont want the obviously large extra business that they are missing. Guess well hit the Mellow Mushroom.

The best pizza! We had a big gathering of friends and family with multiple orders and everything was amazing! The staff was very friendly and made our experience wonderful! My husband and I come here often and always have a wonderful time. I would recommend Italian Pie to anyone who wants a wonderful environment with great Italian food!

We typically call in an order and pick it up, which is pretty speedy. Once we ate in-house and enjoyed the free kids meal one night per week (Mondays I think??). The pizza is consistently good and we LOVE the Mediterranean Salad - the dressing is incredible and perfect for dipping crust.

The meal was perfect, delivered the pizza exactly as we ordered. The service was top notch. We walked out of the Covington location due to poor service. It was definitely worth the drive to Mandeville. Tiffany did a great job

While, to me, its not the best pizza ever it is still very good. I love the spinach artichoke gourmet pizza and we love their calzones. The dinner calzones are huge!
