What can I say. Not much unfortunately. We love small town-like, "hole in the wall", restaurants. But when we first entered, there was no friendly welcomes. We found our own table excited about what kind of simple delicious food we were going to encounter. We sat for about 10-15 min before anybody came to greet us, bring us a menu or anything. Finally the waitress, who looked like shed rather not wait on us, was more worried about putting silverware together than greeting us, took our drink orders, name unknown, still without a menu. When she came back with our drinks, we then asked if we could see a menu. We finally order. 1 plate came out at a time which, typically doesnt bother us. The food looked appealing, but everything was COLD. we did not complain, because my husband and I both have worked in the industry a long time at different times and felt as though the waitress might be new. We politely ate the majority, without saying a word and decided to pay out. We get to the register to find out that we are being nickled and dimed for the majority of our food. The most expensive thing on their breakfast menu was their HE-MAN plate which was $9.80. Which is what my husband ordered. But most everything else stayed somewhere in the $1-$5.00 range. By the time she finished saying what wasnt chargedto our ticket, the total came to a whopping $34.00. I was floored! We absolutely have no issues with paying bigger bills, or tipping nicely when the food and service is good, but this, was ludicrous! We saw our waitress 1 time after our order was taken, and the food was mediocre, and cold! We work very hard to afford these little outings from time to time, so when she kept adding charge after charge for almost every piece of food we had, I became extremely offended, when the prices are already set in place for that particular meal. There are too many other restaurants in town, that I am willing to pay to eat at, thats welcoming, food is warm/hot, service is good, and the menu is understood. We absolutely will not be returning.

Breakfasts are ummm ummmm good! Great coffee, tender biscuits, delicious pancakes, eggs done to perfection, country ham and bacon full of flavor, and creamy melt in your mouth grits! Fast and courteous service too. Just a friendly, homey place to relax and have breakfast!

Real food, real people, real good. Do not miss an opportunity to stop in for their home cooked breakfast, lunch, or dinner. An enjoyable experience for anyone that remembers what service and quality used to be. City limits staff rival any establishment I have found.

Fast and friendly service. Good prices. Country cafeteria atmosphere. Lots of parking. In an industrial looking area. Omelette was a little on the bland side; nothing that couldnt be remedied with salt, pepper, and hot sauce.
