The nutty java is one of my fave coffee places. However, Im very disappointed in them right now. My boyfriend and I were in downtown and wanting some smoothies/frappes from the nutty java. It was 5:45 when we went to the door. The sign said closed. The hours online said they were open until 6. The signs on the store front said happy hour lasted until 6. I understand not wanting people coming in right as the store is closing but we were going to get our drinks to go. Instead of getting our nutty java drinks we went to a neighboring coffee shop that was not nearly as good as the nutty java.

The pastries are made in house daily and taste incredible. Ive also had some fantastic drinks and shakes from them also. The owner is a very nice woman and Im proud to support this local business. I wish I could go more often!

The nutty Java is a great place to hang out. Their beverages are always delicious and the service is top notch. Being in the center of downtown Kingsport, its a great place to meet up with friends with a homey feel.
