I had Beef and Noodles over Mashed Potatoes w/ coleslaw. My dining companion had a Sunset Burger. We shared an order of Battered Mushrooms and an order of Pickled Eggs. Beef and Noodles were just like eating at moms houses with homemade mashed potatoes as well as the pickled eggs. They were not out of a jar and we could definitely tell. The burger was a reasonable size burger with a delicious grilled bun and yummy toppings. The burger was slightly crisp around the edges, not burned. Delicious! We had a difficult time deciding what to order. There were so many choices of homemade deliciousness. For dessert we shared a Butterscotch Lush dessert. It didnt have a strong butterscotch flavor but was very tasty nonetheless. There was only one server and she was really hopping to keep everyone happy. Very courteous. It is a nice, clean, quiet place to dine with a full bar behind a wall that keeps the dining area separate from the bar. Bathrooms were very clean. We will definitely return. This place is a hidden little gem that is worth the trip.

Home cooking, family friendly, comfort food. I love their fresh and fried pork tenderloin sandwich! But the ham loaf and fried chicken and beef and noodles will make you come back again and again. In all the world there is only one - Sunset Inn.

Love this place! The owner/cook always comes out to say hi. The food is exceptional, down home cooking. (The owners mother prepares alot of the specials). The décor leaves a little to be desired but over all a great experience!
