RUDE WAITER. RUDE MANAGER. RIDICULOUS "POLICY". Today, my boyfriend, brother and I went to El Ranchito for dinner about 7:00pm. I received an entree that I did not order. I nicely told my waiter that there must have been some kind of miscommunication or something because this was not what I had ordered. Rudely, he argued with me that I did order the Nachos Supremos. I told him that I ordered the Fajita Nachos, NOT the Nachos Supremos. The Supremos came with a different type of meat that I did not like. Therefore. I wouldnt have ordered this. He finally takes the wrong plate of food back to the kitchen. Still waiting for my correct order, he comes back, without my food, to tell me that the manager says it is their policy that I have to not only pay for the correct entree, but also I have to pay half the price of the wrong entree because it was my fault that I ordered the wrong meal. I told the waiter that I did not order this, and that I wasnt going to pay for something that I did not order nor did I ever even touch. He continued to argue with me that I had to pay for both the correct and incorrect entrees. Once again, I told him that I only ate one meal therefore I was only paying for one meal. He rudely walks away without ever even offering any sort of apology. Never checks on us, comes back to make things right, never says another word to us, nothing. He brings the bill to the table, I go to the front desk to pay, the manager asked what the problem was. I explained to her the situation. The waiter steps in and interrupts me to tell her that I was wrong and that he "never makes mistakes on his orders". After attempting to explain the menu to me, which wasnt at all necessary as I continued to tell her that my ability of reading and understanding the menu was not the issue. The manager finally says she wont make me pay for the meal I did not order nor eat nor touch, but rudely tells me to read the menu more carefully next time. I sarcastically said thank you and that was the end of our conversation. I left the tip on the table. And being that the waiter was so terribly rude to me, we had horrific service, and I had to wait an extra 20 minutes for my food causing me to finally get my food by the time the rest of my party was already majority of the way done with there food; I left two pennies on the table. We then walk outside to our vehicle. While we were standing outside talking, the waiter opens the door and says, "Heres your two pennies!" and throws them at us. My boyfriend then goes back inside and asked to speak with the manager once again. He explains to her what this waiter did and how rude and disrespectful he was to us. Her response to her employees behavior was to tell us that her waiter was not rude, but that we were the rude ones. I have never been to a more inconsiderate, ridiculously rude restaurant in my life. Nor have I ever been so disrespected and treated so terribly. A waiter that is being paid to serve me, is not serving me whatsoever but is putting in the wrong order, blaming me for it, trying to make me pay for his mistake, and then argues and raises his voice at me when I say that I am not going to pay for something that was not my fault. And then to make himself look even better, comes outside the restaurant to throw pennies at me. Thats is absurd. I will NOT be back! On a side note, I was forced to give the restaurant at least one star in order to leave my review in the comments. That one star was for the quality of the food. The quality of the service: NEGATIVE 5 STARS.

Terrible experience, our waitor was extremely rude. He didnt even listen to our right drink order and wouldnt listen to my husband when he tried to tell him me and our daughter were in the bathroom. He was trying to rush us and our order when we had just sat down. When we tried to leave they charged us 4.36 for a tea and 2 waters that didnt get touched so when we asked for to go cups, he set them on the table and told us we had to go back to our table and get it ourselves. Worse experience ever. The only reason i gave it 1 star was because I had too!!

If I could put less than 1 star I would. We decided to try the place for first time. Got there ordered are drink took the waitress 10-15 mins take are actual order. Only took couple mins to receive our food. Which the food tastes old from the rice to the taco I have to the enchilada. Tastes Days old an like they had put in oven get hot. I dont eat Mexican food much put this place aint even worth your money. Taco Bell has better flavor than that Days old food. Just nasty, completely bad service

Good food and great service! I always go here when im in kingsport! This is by far the best restaurant! I love the staff! People complaning about a dog are crazy they were offered a seat away from the other people! People dont like to seat and eat beside a dog! In my case im allergic to dogs! Thats why I dont like dogs beside of me! I will keep going here because everything is fabulous!

I ordered arroz con camarones, Which is just Shrimp, cheese sauce, and rice. The Shrimp, however, were small and not cleaned properly. The vein on the back of most of them was not removed and the majority of the shrimp were gritty and sandy. My partners quesadilla looked really good though, and the service was decent.

The chicken fajitas (pictured) were absolutely delicious! Definitely recommend if you would like to share a meal with someone. Although I ate a little more than my mother, the meal still filled me up. The waitress was very nice to us and was always smiling. Best Mexican restaurant in Kingsport, hands down.

I dont even want to give it a star the way they treat people with blondnesses and special licensed dogs is ashamed i will never eat there ever those people make me sick i have a disable mother and two licensed dogs gonna be pricks and not serve my mother too ugh go to hell

Service is always very friendly. Miguel always seems to have a smile on his face. The food is always excellent and you never have to wait long for your dinner to come from the kitchen. The price to quality ratio is on point and will never disappoint you.

Ive never been treated so rudely or with so much disrespect by an individual. I wish he had told me his name but it wouldnt matter because he refused to let me speak to a manager. I have a longer, detailed review on yelp if you want the whole story.

THIS IS THE BEST MEXICAN RESTAURANT IN KINGSPOR AREA! Very good service and delicious food always! The prices are excellent for the quality of food! I always tip my waiter really good they all do an outstanding job! They are they best! I love it
