My son his wife and son,wanted to take us ( me and his wifes mom) out for a Mothers Day gift, after we had been sitting awhile we re-requested the cheese dip when the waitress decide to take out her frustration on us, by says she was the only one working, she had others to help and we would just have to learn to deal...then she proceeded to tell her management we were being rude to her, then to make matters worse a group of 6 to 8 came in sat 3 tables up from us and she made it a point to tell them we were being bitches to her...my daughter n law heard her.... So we left before we got any food so dont know if food is good or bad but the service was not professional at all...will never return

The first time I dined here I was disappointed. Since then, Ive ordered take out multiple times because its close. I always just get the enchiladas, which are pretty average, but they mostly satisfy my craving for them. Their chicken and beef are very underwhelming. My other half has ordered steak tacos a couple times when Ive gotten food and has always been disappointed. So normally when I order, he gets food from somewhere else. I cant eat their salsa, its too thin and spicy for me, and I never touch the chips, I think theyre gross.

The food was delicious itself, but just because Im a young woman they continuously overprice me. What I get doesnt total out more than $18, then they charged me $26, this last time they charged me over $30 for the exact same items at the exact same time of day. Its unfortunate because I enjoyed the food, but I will not be back.

Always take my out of town friends and/or family here, & have yet to disappoint them. Have had only one issue & that was just a miscommunication via cell on a carry out order. It was quickly fixed with great service. Some times there is a longer wait time than others but thats usually due to a full house with several carry outs.

Called in a lunch order showed up to pickup food I gave them 20 bucks opened the cash register no money at all they called someone name Josh. Had to wait for him to get back with the money the point is you dont open up your business with no money each day note that they will never get any business from me period

Got our food and no silverware. Sit there 5 minutes and had t o holler for someone to bring the silverware. The platter had a big chip out of it. Salsa is different. Worse meal weve ever had and we had been going since the first open the doors. Everyone was new. Dont waste your money, go somewhere else.

This place is excellent, the food is fantastic and the service friendly and professional,, we have eaten here on many occastions and everytime we have the hankering to eat Mexican . Has a good decore and the resuraunts location and access is convenient as well .

THE WORST, FIRST THEY DIDNT HAVE THREE KINDS OF DRINKS ON THE MENUE THEN THE SERVICE WAS AWFUL THE WAITRESS WAS RUDE AND EVEN REFERED TO MY FAMILY AS BITCHES TO OTHER CUSTOMERS. WE LEFT AND WONT BE BACK. AND I WILL POST THIS ON EVERYTHING ONLINE.

Molcajetes has always had great food & I eat there pretty often!! My favorite Mexican restaurant in kingsport by far, no complaints. Im pretty picky & ask for extras, substitutes so they are very good at getting my order right the first time!!!

We ordered online and they didnt even see our order until we showed up half an hour later, then had to wait for them to cook and bag up our meal. Food was okay, but lots of other Mexican restaurants in town that we will try out next time.

One of the best Mexican places in town. Everyone here is so friendly. Service can be spotty at times but that happens anywhere you go. The place is always packed because the prices are good, the food is good, and the people are nice.

Wonderful food at a fantastic price, this is the best Mexican place in town. My wife and I are huge fans of Mexican so weve tried them all, but Molcajetes is the only one we consistently return to and consistently leave feeling satisfied.

Service and food quality is going down hill fast. This place used to be the "go to" spot for lunch. However, for three times in a row I, and my coworkers, have been let down. Sad way to go out Molcajetes, what happened????

Wish I could give it less than one. All I wanted was cheese dip. Took 30 minutes. Asked for a refill. Never got it. Asked for the check never got it. Walked up paid for what I got without a receipt and left. Never again

I am very dissatitsfied. I WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN. It is NOT TRUE MEXICAN food. the watress did not keep us up on or drink. ONLY THING THAT WAS GOOD WAS THE CHIPS and CHEESE dip and the SALSA for the chips
