Hey, for those who came to Peach Garden prior December 2008. The Chef is new, better cook, more tasty. I am Chinese, and I do not eat "Made for American" Chinese foods, such as "Panda Express" etc. I am from Los Angeles, real Chinese foods are everywhere there. Peach Garden cooks exactly the way that I like it, authentc!! I spoke with the Chef once, he is actually from LA himself, cooking Chinese foods for more than 20 years!! It is also now, a family own and run business. Dont take my word for it, give it a try (Let me know if I am wrong, or any better choice). I found out not that many people dine in there, but they are very busy making deliveries. I guess we are too busy stay in our dorm room studying or maybe playing video games....lol.

Their food isnt terrible but it is certainly no treat. The decor and music are nearly charming. The cuisine falls short of anything special or impressive. Fried rice is only that, no veggies, egg, or pork are in the fried rice served with combos. Meanwhile white rice is quite good, just the right stickiness. Only slightly pricier than the average Asian fare. Most entrees are between 9 and 12 bucks with a few higher priced specialties. The crab rangoon are kinda skimpy and bland. Overall its a solid choice for a regularly passable meal while other places in town tend to vary in quality depending on who is in the kitchen, this place is consistent. I have always been impressed with the service however.

Utterly disappointing. Ordered a simple beef meal, & received an unknown meat that was pure gristle. When I asked the waitress if meat choice was ordered wrong (accidentally of course), she said no it was what I ordered, I replied with, "is beef supposed to be white?" She said "its beef, look at the lines in the meat!" No refund was offered, or choice of something different to eat, just...nothing. It was the most expensive mistake I have ever made with food. The fortune cookie was even stale! Lol! I wont ever go back again. Good customer service, & quality food standards are a must in this town! There are a lot of great places (less expensive too!) to compete with, you need to bring your "A" game!

I really enjoyed the food and the service at Peach Garden. The food came quickly and tasted very fresh and well seasoned. The food at Peach Garden was restaurant quality, not greasy fast food. Weve tried a lot of the Chinese eateries around Bloomington because I get homesick for good Chinese restaurant food, coming from San Francisco, THE place to go for quintessential Chinese restaurants. Peach Garden is tucked away in an area not too easy to find if youre new in town. Although I hope their restaurant becomes more popular, I also hope that it doesnt become so popular that the quality of the food changes. Its a hidden treasure. Were so glad we found Peach Garden.

I normally eat lunch at Peach Garden 5-7 times a month and have found the food to be great. The meals are full of flavor and economically priced. Seating is self service and rarely have I found the place to be packed. The average wait for any meal is less than 10 minutes and the server is always very courteous and friendly. This particular restaurant does not offer a buffet, which results in individually cooked meals, which, in my opinion, provides a better dining experience. If you are looking for immediate food go to a buffet. However, if you want good tasting food that is full of flavor in good portions at an economical price, this is the place for you.

I had been craving Chinese food all week. This was my first visit here. We got general tso chicken, pork loin mein, fried dumplings, and crab rangoons. I picked up/carry out in person because I wanted to try Peach Garden and see the location. The tso chicken was soggy and bland. A few of the bites left me with chewy tendons and fat, so I spit those out. I only tried two pieces before I threw the quart away. The pork loin mein was burnt and the pork was flavorless. The fries dumplings had raw meat inside (pink) and Im not sure what meat that was since it just said "fried dumpling. " The crab rangoons were cold. I am so disappointed!

What a terrible waste of money. We ordered at 5 oclock and it took over an hour to get our food, I finally had to drive over to get it, and then was greeted with, "We really dont care" when I said wed probably never order again due to the length of time it took, as well they offered no kind words, or attempts to keep our business. Food was okay, not terrible or anything, just boring and tasteless. If you want great Chinese go to Dragon on the west side instead. Awesome staff and best Chinese in town.

ive been eating here for years, past few years me and my girlfriend go once a month and they are always nice, food is always fast and fresh - great tasting. i get delivery now and again. the serving sizes feel smaller then if you go in to eat but thats ok - delivery is usually fast. Davids 1 start rating is dumb, this place is the best chineese food in bloomington, to wait 1 hour for delivery? be patient, this is a college town -thats all kids eat (delivery)

This was by far the worst Chinese food I have ever had. How hard is it to make sweet and sour chicken? Obviously too hard. The chicken was severely over cooked and all deep fried breading. I ordered fried rice, even paid an extra $1 for it but still got white rice. Does any place in Bloomington, Indiana know how to cook Chinese food? I have tried 5 so far all are terrible. I guess I will just wait to go back home to Michigan to get real Chinese food.

My family & I are from CA & we have had a lot of good Chinese food before. This place is great. Awesome food with great service. We had orange chicken & mongolian beef, they both were very good. The staff is very friendly & hospitable. My wife & I have 3 children & the people at the Peach Garden were very friendly & accommodating. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. The food is excellent!!! Give it a try, we were very happy with all aspects.

This place need to be shut down! So a little over a mouth ago I ordered from there. Woke up in the middle of the night puking. I was very sick all day the next day. I took it as a stomach flu and let it go. Last night I ordered Peach Garden again thinking nothing of it. I woke up puking again, and today I am very sick. Something is going on here. Avoid this place at all cost!
