I love Cracker Barrel, but not this one. And it was directly because we received the absolute worst service. Our waitress was Gabi (I think, she didnt stay long at our table for any point during our meal) and judging by her "Rising Star" apron, Im assuming shes new. We had just spent 7 hours on the road and stopped for dinner. It wasnt busy, it was close to 8:30pm. I took both my kids to the restroom after we were seated and I told my mother our drink orders. Gabi returns slamming (not kidding) down diet root beers (ordered regular for my kids, but okay) and throwing creamers to the other side of the table to my mother. I wish I was kidding, Im still not. We order. My son is 10 and likes to order for himself. He orders the chicken and dumplings. The end. The kids chicken and dumplings do not come with a side but she raises her eyebrows at him like shes impatiently waiting for him to continue and I then order the same for my daughter. And Gabi wakes up and says oh he wants the kids chicken and dumplings? Yeah, b. Hes coloring in a kids menu and hes clearly. A. Kid. and then she rushes off without taking the menus that Im trying to hand back to her. Some time later, she brings us our food. No cornbread or biscuits because who wants those? She never came back to ask about our meal. Or refills. She walked past and my mom got her attention for cornbread and biscuits. Gabi just continues to walk past and nods her head. Same thing trying to get a box. Walks past, nods head. Guess what Gabi didnt get?

The wait staff is always super friendly, never had an issue with them at any location. This particular location always seems tidy and the table staff clears tables in a timely manner from what Ive seen. Restrooms are kept up with also which is such an important factor. Now to the food. I used to really like Cracker Barrel breakfasts. However, maybe its because prior to breakfast options it is the only place we really had. They still have okay food but it is no longer a place I desire to go to. If I do, I resort to a simple breakfast with their pancakes because they do have great pancakes. I understand that these restaurants attract a certain crowd but I remember never being able to find parking and it seems those number of customers have lowered greatly. They need new items to appeal to a broader crowd of people. After eating here I always feel a bit dissatisfied. Not because the flavor is bad, it always tastes like it should but I guess that is not what I personally look for anymore.

The service here is not great. I frequently have to ask for refills, and they definitely have some items that they will not make the order. They state that the items come this way, which tells me that theyre not making everything fresh in store. A lot of Travelers come through here so Im guessing that the staff believes that people arent going to leave a review when theyre not going to come back regardless of service. Sometimes my food isnt necessarily fresh. It tastes like its been sitting there for a while. Often I have to wait a really long time to even place my drink order. I do not recommend this even for travelers as service is not as good as it could be.

We were a large party of 11 for breakfast. Got there immediately asked for table of 11. While waiting anotger group of 11 came in, then a party of 7. They seated the other party of 11 before us, and the party of 7. We asked why. They said oh there are no tables left, it will be a very long wait. There was no apology, and we had to sit at several separate tables. We were the first to request table, and they did nothing at all to make it right. Not evev an applolgy. We stop often at Cracker Barrels but not this one again. This all took place with the manager himself taking the request. The final straw was egg shells in my scrambled eggs.

Classic southern cooking with more healthy options for breakfast. I really enjoyed the Good Morning Breakfast. The turkey sausage patties are flavorful, the egg whites were perfectly cooked (not easy to do as most of you know), and cheese grits and fresh fruit finish it up nicely at only 380 cals! And it filled me up. Add on their solidly good strong coffee and you have a great start to any road trip. And... Shelby was a great watress, always checking on us and keeping our coffee fresh and hot.

server Lillian was great! manager Greg sat our party of 5 at small table, and when we asked for larger table he said the table did not have a server assigned, and our ootion was to wait behind a large party of 9 to get a table for 5, there were several empty tables, he just would not let the server work them across the aisle...after our order was placed the server did convince the manager to let us move. she was great and her service was great...manager was not accomodating

My daughter ordered our carry out food by calling this store. They told her 15 mins. An hour later she finally got the food after consistently requested for them to check on the order. When she got home there were no biscuits or cornbread that were ordered nor was there syrup for the pancakes. Luckily there was syrup at home but that is not the usual case in this house. This was very disappointing and not up to the quality of any Cracker Barrel Ive been to.

It was about 6:00 am on a Saturday morning. It was getting pretty busy. They only had 2 waiters on hand. 1 was new and the other had 5 stars on. Ours was the new one who couldnt get everyone in his areas waited on. So the older waitress had to keep taking care of his customers. I didnt really get what I ordered, but keep it any way because I was in a bit of a hurry. They needed to have 2 experience waiters on shift for early morning rush.

The waitress I had was fantastic! She was kind, took my order quickly, and brought it out hot too. Another waitress even smiled at me and talked to me briefly on her way to another customer. I loved their smokehouse breakfast platter! Conveniently located right off I-65 near the Darrell Waltrip dealerships, hotels, and office buildings.

Greatest Ever
I wont say this place is perfect but they are consistent. The waiters have always been friendly to me and my family and the food is delicious as would be expected from a chain of such a high reputation. If you havent tried the Country Fried Shrimp for dinner I highly recommend it.

Love the chain, but this is a terrible location. From host losing our name and other ppls as well. Then the cold food and the waiter bringing it and telling me right then thatched rest of my food (sides) would be out later. Glorious failure and nope not returning to this location

New server so take with a grain of salt, but food came out very late, and then missing items which came out later than promised. Not crowded so could not account for that. Food is good. Most CBs would get 4 stars because food is consistently good but staff is usually awesome.
