This place used to be my favorite Mexican restaurant for food and service! I dont know if owners changed or what but the service sucks now, my wife just went to pick up a to go order, she had two bags of chips with the order and four small cups of salsa. She asked for more salsa and the guy says I already gave you 4, lol one little cup is good for about three chips! For the past year the service has been getting worse so from now on I think Ill drive a little further to Huey Lueys and pay a little more for better quality food and great service!

El Nopal Mexican Restaurant is the best Restaurant I have been too in this area for years. The staff have accommodated my family for my Mothers birthday as well as my own birthday and my nieces. The staff are very polite and prompt. The place is always clean and they dont mind putting together tables for a party as large as 25. My family loves rhis place and We all would recommend you to eat here. And did I mention the portions. Im 6ft 4 in 265 lbs and I have never left here hungry. Try it.

Food is not too bad, not great. Service is really lacking. I was a good customer and was ignored by their wait staff. This happened the last 4 times there. Not good!!!! I decided to order for take out and they included a fee for an extra plate? It was .75 cents but its the principle of the matter. Why are you charging me extra because I am using take out? Maybe you can answer this one. Oh well, you lost a long time customer. Keep up the good work!!

The "Johnnys Burrito" is delicious and Extra Grande. I enjoyed this entree -they filled the burrito with fresh avacado and pico de gallo, tender meat and flavorful rice all topped with liquicheese. Yumza! Heres a tip: If you ask for it they will bring you the spicey salsa, very tangy and with a little more kick. I wish it was even hotter. Hope to return soon and sample their margaritas!

Food is good but the service isnt what it used to be, they need some more servers, if you drink, get the big one cause you may not get a second.. It really is a shame, I see im not the only one who noticed the change in quality of service, this once was the best mexican on the west side, now new lareado of chattahoochee and marrietta blvd. Too bad its always so busy.

Good food. My only complaint was our server didnt speak much English. Normally I wouldnt complain but this made it tough for us to order. However once we got our order through everything was great. I have eaten there several times and have only had this experience once. Every other time, it has been a pleasure , even with a two-year old.

First time visiting this place and I was not impressed. The carne asada I had was very thin and tough. The waiter was not friendly and when asked if I wanted a Togo box I told him no it wasnt very good. He then just took my plate and walked away. My wife had chimis and said they were good.

On a monday I ordered carnitas. First they said they were out then after checking with the kitchen said they had some. When they served them it was obvious they were cooked at least the day.before. and reheated. Ive not been back. Tequila Resturant is better.

Overall one of the better place to eat in town. Good food. Specials and other well priced meals. Lots of waiters and waitresses sitting around though talking and not grabbing orders and the center of the restaurant can be noisy from the speakers above you.

The food here is pretty good and is one of the better places to eat in the area. I ordered some special plate and they brought out 3 Large plates of food! I couldnt even finish a quarter of it. For the price they really deliver a great meal.

Normally theres music in the background, but, for some reason the jukebox was gone and honestly it was too quiet. Food was great as usual. But our waiter looked and acted stoned. Pretty freakin cool!!
