For a new business, their operations was poor and the equipment was already inoperative. There was a situation this evening with a customer who was having a problem with her order.The DQ customer team consisting of 5 employees was all trying to help this one customer. They were all huddled together not knowing what to do. It was obvious they were confused and you could see they were not trained to handle this situation. Meanwhile the line of new customers coming inside DQ was lined up all the way to the back of the shop. The only other cashier station was inoperative. So instead of being proactive and manually taking orders, we all just stood there and waited to be served. In addition, the drive through car line was lined up all the way around the shop and into the street. Better get some new managers or add new standard operating procedures and/or training for the staff or this place will fold. We dont want DQ to go away!

I feel sorry for some of the employees there. They are so short staff, especially during the day. You got a manager in a arm sling who just walks around getting in the way, you got another manager who does nothing but walks around with a clipboard or phone. Then you have Tabitha who is always in a bad mood. Then they have mostly kids at night that are sneaking food in the womens bathroom to eat, or around the wall . One employee looking out while the other takes a few bites then they switch... awful, but there are great employees like John, Cadisha,Hailey, and Christa. And a very good new manager named Pam. This store just needs some tweaking.

Got to dairy queen at around 10:30am no one was in drive through and one car in the parking lot. Pulled up ordered food and drove to window paid and they told me to park they would bring my food out to me. We sat there for almost 20 minutes until I finally had to go in and ask where my food was...It was sitting on the counter!!!! And all they said was oh sorry! I will never go back there again and recommend to anyone to stay away. Very unprofessional and not nice. And on top of that my food was cold. Thanks dairy queen for nothing.

Went on a Saturday morning at 11:00. There were 12 of us all ordering 1 item each for our grandsons 14th birthday. Our granddaughter told us she was aware of a promotion for blizzards "buy 1 get 1 for .99. There was one other party of 2 at the store. When we asked the team member who waited on us about the offer she rolled her eyes and rudely announced she didnt know anything about it. We asked to speak to the mgr & the team member said it might be a while - she is in the bathroom.

I always have a good experience when coming to dairy Queen for my morning breakfast stops. They are one of the few places around Columbia to actually tell you they are making your food prepared to order, at least they arent serving you some food that has been sitting around all day. I have never been here during the lunch/night hours so I cant praise them with 5 stars but Amber and the other lady in the morning are pretty awesome give them a chance.

Have a breakfast menu but dont open till 10:00. Isnt breakfast usually over at 10:30. On top of that Ive went a few times and each time they are extremely slow. Employees come off as rude. Several employees were on break sitting at a table near me and were very loud and cursing loudly. Didnt necessarily bother me but I could see where it would offend families with small children. Food was decent but not worth the negative atmosphere.

Very disappointed!! Stopped in hour before closing; food and service showed their priority was cleaning and closing. Order was to go..had to ask for bag to put food in, tops to put on ice cream. Got home to order that was wrong, then a flamethrower burger with only one small piece of bacon, a mushroom Swiss burger with only 2 pieces of mushroom. Disgusted and will not go back!!

Only reason for this low rating is I observed the young lady making the ice cream treats keep eating something (looked like she may have been eating the toppings from out of the dispensers) & kept putting her hair behind her ears or moving it out of her face WITHOUT ever washing her hands...too bad I didnt notice before I had ordered and paid. I wont be back Im sorry to say.

This is the worse place to eat ever. When they were getting ready to open the excitement was big...After all this time they still cant do their job...it every single time you go...I want them to do better...I love Dairy Queen but I have just about decided to not keep wasting my money...I just wish management for up high cared enough to come and straighten the place out.

Took 15 minutes to get to the window with 4 people in front of us and only that fast because 2 people drove off. When we got to the window we sat there for 5 minutes staring at our food before I knocked on the window and asked them to hand me our food. We finally got our food and it looked liked a blind one armed man could have put the burger together better.

This Dairy Queen will not last long!!! My bread was stale, meat patty tasted like it was a little old and my blizzard...more like slush. What a disappointment, youre better off driving to Spring Hill, if you want the real DQ bc this IS NOT IT!!! I called tryin to rectify the issue of course...placed on hold til you hang up. PURE RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!!

I LOVE Dairy Queen however, every single time I go to the one in Columbia they are Soooo slow ! Multiple times when I have pulled up to the window Ive sat there for 5 minutes waiting for someone to take my order . They will have a line at the order podium and no one in the line where you pay at . Youre here to work. Pay attention.

Mind you, yes what I ordered was hot and fresh, but the floor in front of the serve yourself drink station was covered in water...this is a brand new establishment (a little over a year old) and according to the manager, they have been dealing with problems with the drink station leaking. The floor us very slick when it gets wet

The store its self is great. But one of the emoloyees that worked Friday was rude and disrespectful. Gladly I caught his name NICK. He had a attitude towards me the whole time and he closed the window and whispered something under his breathe when I wanted to add something else onto my order.

Saw a commercial on TV for happy hour 2-5. Got in drive through at 3:40. Finally placed order at 4:02. Then told happy hour ended at 4:00. Order two large blizzards. Got to the window and was handed two different size cups. I would be more likely to drive to Spring Hill than deal with this.

This is ones of the best breakfast place in this town. The heavenly hash browns are a complete breakfast. Tasty and lots of food. Great choices in meat and the orange juice is always cold. Also, where can you have a great breakfast and then a great shake afterwards.
