Terrible... my family and I have been coming to myrtle beach and eating here for the last 4 years, Every year since I got married. The first time me and my husband agreed we loved this restaurant. The next year we came he still loved it but I was disappointed, last year I was again disappointed but my husband still loved it. On vacation this year we went (today) and I have got to say that I was a lot more than disappointed. The server hovered and barely spoke English. First she asked how old our kids were and I said 4 and 5. After we got our plates she came back again and asked how old they were. When I replied with the exact same answer she said thats a lot food for them like I wasnt supposed to feed them...it wasnt that much. I couldnt find anything that looked remotely appealing and when I did it was a small piece of ham that was very cold and tasted nasty. My 5 year old said that the chicken on a stick was nasty, and he always loves teriyaki chicken and is a great eater. When we paid the waitress she insisted she take the money then asked if she could keep the change which was 8$. I normally tip a decent amount but the way she made me feel the whole time we were there (about 20 minutes) I didnt want to tip more than a couple dollars. I wanted some fruit but was weary about getting it since she made a big deal of the amount I fed my kids so I ended up not getting anything else and leaving dissatisfied. My kids are not even remotely overweight. When she brought our change back she asked if she could keep it again and my husband told her no once again. We didnt waste much and who asks for a tip? I felt very uncomfortable and for the first time in 4 years he agreed with me that this was a terrible restaurant with a terrible experience.

We go to this wonderful resturant at least once a week. Very clean,great service.prices are very fair. Owners and staff try to make your visit enjoyable as possible. Friday afternoon we were there for a late lunch.Couple sat accross from us.Noticed they were always laughting? They ate,several visits to bar. Apx 30 minutes later girl left? Then all of a sudden man jumped up and ran to car. They ran WITHOUT paying SERVER ran out hoping they just forgot.NO the driver and lady were laughting as they almost ran over this young man.Driving away while his hand was still on car. They had a great lunch and fun.BUT KARMA I HOPE GETS THEM. WHITE MALE APX 40 L BROWN HAIR APX 180 TO 210 LBS WOMAN AFRICIAN/AMERICAN APX 150 TO 180 LBS 30 TO 40 AGE LONG BLK HAIR . BOTH ARE NOW WELL FED. IF YOU SEE THEM CALL SURFSIDE POLICE. THIS YOUNG MAN (waiter) lost a lot. OUR AREA IS NOT A PLACE TO BREAK THE LAW. SOMEONE IS ALWAYS LOOKING. LOCALS HAVE EYES AND EARS OPEN.WE LOVE OUR TOWNS.DONT COME HERE TO BREAK THE LAW. THE TRUTH BE THESE PEOPLE PROBALY WOULD HAVE FED THEM IF THEY WERE DOWN AND OUT. OH NO LETS HELP OURSELF. THANKS FOR LISTENING. THE LADY I WAS WITH TRIED TO PAY THEIR BILL. OWNER REFUSED. THEY ARE GOOD PEOPLE.

My son wanted to eat here for his 11th birthday today. I was not expecting much as most of the reviews were not very good but we were extremely happy with our experience. The food was fresh and hot, they even had pizza on the buffet which was a plus because I also had my 7 and 2 year olds with us. Our server was PHENOMENAL, she was friendly, chatted a little, kept on top of refills and plates, and even brought a piece of cake and sang happy birthday to my son ( we didnt even ask her to). The restaurant was very clean and the rest of the staff we encountered were all friendly. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and we will absolutely be going back. Thank you for a great evening and helping make my sons birthday special!

This past Sunday June 18 we returned to this establishment for a second time because the food was ok our first time around. After this time we will never return all due to the wait staff. Our waitress never once refilled our drinks, never checked on us and that is fine because thats how you earn tips and determines whether or not a customer will return. But what was the worse part of our experience, the waitress had the Gaul to ask for her tip, even after we explained the bad service she demanded a tip. When we walked away she very loudly shouted something at us in her foreign language. Poor behavior and disrespectful to a customer. We asked to speak to a manager but was told they did not have one. Poor poor customer service

The service is horrible. The guy at register is the worst, there is one guy who is nicer and more people friendly, younger looking. The guy who is there the most is always texting on phone and treats you like your bothering him or dont exist. Most of female management acts the same. The food is dry and looks disgusting they take their time to put fresh food some days. They charge too much for a buffet of this standard. Im a local and I refuse to visit this dump, I have co workers who also avoid this place. I just feel their mentality is oh well, we dont need your business we always get customers * mostly vacationers * because they dont know better. Can we please open up a better place with friendly service.

Im a seafood and Chinese food enthusiast and this is, by far, the WORST place I have ever eaten. The food was overcooked, undercooked, or should never have been cooked. Easy items like fried shrimp and General Tsos Chicken were butchered. The sushi was pathetic and incredibly bland. Its sticky rice and avocado, the easiest sushi to make, and they managed to ruin it. The kicker to all this? Even their soft serve ice cream tasted terrible. Ive been sick for two whole days after eating there. Ive got mild food poisoning from New China Buffet. My vacation has been ruined. Id advise you to look elsewhere for your dinner.

OMG, let me start by saying the food is NASTY. My family and I is on spring break vacation. My daughter loves Chinese food;she was very disappointed. My husband and I fix a plate took one bite of each. The food tasted old, and over cook. The food had no season in it, horrible. My daughter friend didnt even touch her food. When we told the waitress about our experience she stated there is nothing she can do. We was charged $60.00 for food we didnt even ate. We will NEVER go there again!!!!! WARNING ⚠️ THE FOOD IS AWFUL!!!!!!!!!! Overall I give New China zero star. Tried to post with zero star, but wouldnt let me.

I went there last night. The food was cold and tasteless. They do NOT charge $11. My fiance and I went and it was $32 for the both of us. One of the waitresses was arguing with another group of people about the bill. We never got fortune cookies when we got our bill back, so we asked for some and never got them. They are not sanitary and not worth the time or money. And they dont even care to fix complaints. The roof was leaking in 3 spots and they sat us at the table. We even asked to move and they told us no even though there were MANY open tables around us. Never eating here again.
