One of my most favorite restaurants, and I have moved from state to state a lot during my 35 years. The food is always freshly cooked and extremely delicious. I see someone complained about "too much broccoli" but I have been going to this restaurant for years and never had a "problem". Their meals provide a perfect balance of meat/tofu and vegetables, depending on the individual dish, with a good serving of rice on the side. My wife for example loves the Mongolian Beef and the Garlic Chicken, and both come with just the right amount of vegetables. She also says that their Hot and Sour Soup is the best she ever had and that is the only one she tried so far that tastes like the ones she used to eat when she still lived in Europe. Aside from the great food, the restaurant is clean and the waiters and owners are very polite. I love taking my wife there for dinner, and also love to call ahead and order something to go. The one thing people need to keep in mind though is that this restaurant is not run by Americans pretending to be Asian-y. The owners actually are Asian and there are cultural differences in behavior. They might seem like they try to keep customer interaction brief and rush things, but that is because they will immediately try to tend to your needs and get your order cooking - unlike for example Olive Garden where the waiter/waitress will tell you half their life story before you even get to order anything, and then you will have to wait another fifteen minutes before they even bring the salad. Long story short; unless my wife and I feel in the mood for unlimited variety (buffet), we always eat/order Chinese food at the Delicacy Chinese Bistro. It definitely is worth every dollar.

A kind of small, but very nice and clean restaurant with slightly dimmed lighting and subtle piano music, which generates a more private and romantic atmosphere versus going to big chain restaurants. That makes it a great place to take out a loved one for dinner on special occasions, or simply go if you feel in the mood for some tasty Chinese food. No matter if you dine in or take out, the employees and owners are super nice and check on you frequently if you dine in. The food is delicious and the portions are quite big, while the price is still average. The dinner menu provides larger portions at a slightly higher price, but this can be ordered any time of the day and is definitely worth the money if you are very hungry or want to take leftovers home. Their General Tsos chicken is - in my opinion - the best in town, and they even offer some nice vegetarian dishes.

I am a (caucasian) American born in China, and this Chinese food is as flavourful and good as I have ever tasted in the Carolinas. Its not as fancy as Bao Ding in Charlotte or as chic as P. F. Changs...but THIS is the real deal. Their appetizers are terrific (try the lettuce wraps and the juicy pan-fried pork dumplings with ginger scallion sauce!). I was shocked by one comment disparaging the older lady who runs the restaurant, she is the soul of hospitality, but she IS Chinese so she will probably ask about your family and inquire about your day as she pours you bottomless pots of tea...this is not rude, in fact in China its exactly the opposite! Her presence adds as much depth to the entire experience as the ginger and delicate spices do to the food!

The service was good, if a bit slow. Ive been three times, twice in the day, once at night. So of course theyre werent many people at night, but the service was still slow. But the waiters and waitresses were very nice. Another thing that bothered me was, at night, there where no egg rolls. And before I went there, Ive never really liked egg rolls. So it was kinda disappointing. But the food was clearly fresh. The rice is very good if you mix it with the chicken sauce, if you get chicken. Also, the noodles are extremely good. I recommend them. They also serve very large meals, so dont worry if youre hungry, or if youre taking your whole family. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who loves authentic Chinese food.

I have lived in the Carolinas for 6 years and have failed to find a Chinese Restaurant that actually serves chinese foot that TASTES like chinese food. I couldnt even find real pork fried rice. Delicacy nailed it! I had stopped even trying to find a place, my last attempt being 3 yrs ago. So glad I gave this a shot. 2 downsides. I wish they had the real fresh made duck sauce and also would like to see a larger menu, specifically appetizers. Pupu, terriyaki, boneless pork, etc. You cant beat the taste! FINALLY I can eat chinese food again!

One of our favorite Chinese restaurants. Definitely our favorite in Rock Hill if not at the top of the list. Many, many steps above take-out as far as quality of food goes (and Im a pretty big fan of take-out Chinese food) . All of the food tastes freshly-prepared. The portions are generous and the staff is always friendly. Not terribly expensive for what you get. Favorites: General Tsos Chicken, Crispy Scallion Chicken, Peking Duck, Pu Pu Platter.

Im Chinese American and have had a lot of good and bad Chinese food. This place was a surprisingly satisfying find right off I-77. They actually had authentic Peking duck with wrappers (4 for half a duck), hoisin sauce and scallions. They also accommodated my request to make the "vegetarian delight" with fresh tofu (instead of fried), and the stir-fried udon with shrimp and chicken also had snow peas and was very tasty.

Placed my order online. It didnt show up so I call two hours later and nobody picks up. Then I get an email another hour later, maybe 3 minutes before the store closes. I call again someone picks up and tells me that they dont deliver to my area. I live 3 miles away and max its a seven minute trip. Why couldnt you deliver? I just didnt like the whole experience I had. Now Im waiting for a refund that will take two days.

I ordered human beef to go. When I arrived they said chicken. I said no. They hand me the bag which I pay for, only to find out they have given me chicken. My boyfriend does not eat chicken, paid extra for beef. I ordered online so there should be no confusion. I saw the receipt had beef written on it. I really dont like being tricked into taking an order they know they messed up.

I ordered take out tonight. Everything was great! The menu is very typical but the quality was superb. The spring rolls and crab rangoon were crispy and I could tell the oil was clean. I only wish they had an alternative menu for those of us who like authentic Chinese food. The ribs were great and the sesame chicken was excellent and not over done with thick, sugary sauce.

We carried out and the food was good! I can not vouch for service but the people working while I waited (I showed up early, the food did not take too long) for the food to be finished were friendly and interested in making me comfortable. I really liked all of the food, but the Lemon Chicken was my personal favorite. Worth going back for!
