It was middle of shift change, so we had the place to ourselves, except for a little family of five beside us. So we thought " how wonderful" all quiet and cozy. The sweet tea was good. When it came to our food. I ordered jus 2 beef tacos, with beans and rice, and he had Arroz con Pollo, he complained of no flavor and my tacos were just as bland. The beans and rice were on point though! I will try again for sure, sometimes ya have a bad day. Very nice restaurant with a good bar and a stage for live music, maybe I can get back a show.

Following a five year sabbatical, I enjoyed my favorite meal, once again. The arroz con pollo continues to be not only a festive platter of delicious food, but also a platter that could feed a village. I would estimate the food weighs about 1.5 pounds in total, and it is a fantastic 1.5 pounds. The entire experience was good, but was slightly tarnished by seeing a Hummer in the parking lot. The restaurant, of course, is not at fault, so I will not be omitting a star from this review. Enjoy!

This place is terrible! I cant believe that anyone could possibly enjoy a meal here. Chips served were obviously out of bag from a restaurant distributor. I had a Chimachanga and it came with no rice or beans. It was drenched in a watery red liquid that had no flavor. Not even sure what it was. The plate was just a soggy plate of garbage. Dont believe the other reviews that had to be written by the owners and their family and friends. Not just bad, TERRIBLE!!

Reminded us of our favorite Mexican foods from California. Spoke to the owners and found out they were from California. Great Shredded beef tacos with flavor and texture not usually found in the Carolinas. I only hope one day soon they have a place in Charlotte, NC.

The food here is always excellent and the service is always prompt. We have been several times both during a busy time and a slow time, there was noticeable difference in service. Definitely get the fajitas for two!

Great spot off the beaten path. Weve been coming here for several years and its nice to get out of the crowds. Food is delicious, if a little different than "standard" Mexican restaurants in SC.

I ordered guacamole and carnitas and could not be more pleased, food was very fresh, very friendly, and great atmosphere, hot food, and cool drinks. Prices arent bad most plates are around $10.
