I was very excited to try Habaneros. We were discussing how we wanted to go out weekly to help support businesses in the area. Metrowest really needs some good sit down restaurants and we need to support them. Unfortunately I think Habaneros is going to continue the cycle of rotating restaurants in this plaza, if they dont change. The service was poor and the food was bland. One thing that we were happy about, is that our dog was allowed to come sit with us outside. When we sat down we were quickly served warm chips and salsa. The chips had no salt and the table we were at did not have any salt either, so we had to hunt down a table that had some. The salsa was just a lot of tomato juice, not a lot of peppers or chunks. We sat there with our chips for ten minutes before we asked a passing waiter that we would like some water and that we havent seen our waitress since we got the chips. When the server came back with the water he said he didnt know who was supposed to be helping us, but that he would be taking over. For the remainder of the evening I was treated like a gladiator well decorated as our server tried to recover from this initial service hiccup. We ordered a margarita and shared a giant burrito. The margarita was good. The burrito was bad. It had no flavor and the chicken had the consistency of rubber. We couldnt even finish the meal. The price of the meal was fair for the amount of food they served. The problem is I didnt really want to eat any of it. I would rather pay $5 dollars more and get good quality food. I want Habaneros to succeed but they need to change. Less options, you dont need a five page menu and better quality food.

The service here is terrible! My friend and I decided to stop and try this Mexican restaurant as I live across the street and really enjoy Mexican food.. We sat at the bar and were ignored even though there were only 2 other patrons in the entire restaurant and she appeared to only be doing remedial side work. after she was finished she proceeded to give us the menus and took our drink order then disappeared for nearly 15 minutes, she then took our order and we received our food "which was decent", but then she disappeared again for another 10 to 15 minutes and the fajitas only came with 3 tortillas in which they ask you to pay an additional $0.75 per tortilla after that which I would have gladly paid if I could have even found our server.. Unfortunately she didnt return until we were done and it was time for us to ask for a tab.. Meanwhile the two other servers in the restaurant had no tables therefore they just sat near the bar and watched the TV! This was just three weeks after they had opened and I hope that worked out the kinks but from reading other reviews I dont believe they have..

Are you guys kidding me!!! They tried to charge us for a little container of ketchup! $5 for a small sauce sized serving of ketchup! We, as a company used to eat here all the time, but forget about it! Business down the drain, they must really need some profits to charge $5 for ketchup! Dont they know Publix sells ketchup for under $3 and thats at least 16 oz! WOW Get out of here! Habaneros wont last too much longer in the MetroWest area! Service was always bad, but their food was decent, after that and the manager backing a $5 charge for ketchup, NO MORE BUSINESS from their neighbors!

Excellent food at a very reasonable price. Menu offers a large selection. Tried the steak Fajitas and they were great. Also tried the Pollo Sinaloense which I would also recommend. Service was good and friendly. We have tried the take home which was very good as well. Next visit we will try dining on their large patio outside. Excellent local spot to get your Mexican food fix.

The staff is nice, its in a really nice location, clean. However, the meat had no flavor. I did not enjoy the Quesedilla, and my colleague did not enjoy her taco salad as well, (meat was not seasoned). Someone else order the fish taco, and they liked it. Not sure if I would return (just being honest).

Im from the Southwest and love Habaneros. Habaneros is clean, friendly, and the food is flavorful ,uniquely spiced and reasonably priced. The avocado salad is fresh as well as their lettuce and tomatoes. I highly recommend this restaurant and am pleased it opened in our MetroWest neighborhood.

My last time coming here. Sat for more than 7 minutes without a waiter coming to greet us. Then another couple come in after us and get serviced before us! Sorry but you dont deserve my money. Going somewhere else.

Food was fresh, although, the taste of the food is bland, in my opinion the price doesnt match the flavor. You are better off going to Agave Azul and has the authentic Mexican flavor . Way better !!!!

I wont go into too much detail about everything that happened; I dont want to write an essay. There was an issue. The manager was unprofessional, condescending, and passive-aggressive. Wont be back.

This is presently my favorite Metrowest dining spot! Not only for the good food and friendly, competent service, but also the ambiance. Especially the outdoor balcony overlooking the little lake.

Excellent service and the food was amazing. We got so much food for so little money that we couldnt even finish it all! They really are a great place to eat and we will definitely be coming back!

The food was very bland. I dont like real spicy food, so if it tasted bland to me, it was really bland! Its a nice looking restaurant, but I wont go back because the food just had no taste.

The restaurant was warm, the food was good. But for a restaurant named Habeneros, they didnt have any good hot sauce. They were OUT the waitress said.

Service is good and friendly staff, food is mediocre. Not the best Mexican food Ive had. Bland and flavorless, including the salsa.

The food was ok. Small portion compared to most Hispanic places. A bit pricy for what it was. Good view of the lake from the patio.
