It is almost worth eating here to see just how bad Mexican food can be. I ordered two chile rellenos and was handed a plate of ground beef and some unrecognizable cheese boiling in grease. No poblano, pasilla, Anaheim or even bell pepper in the dish. El Campesinos staff has convinced unknowing locals that whatever it is that they serve is Mexican "food." The manager explained to me that this is what his customers wanted instead of battered, stuffed peppers. I guess I can only ask how would they know if your food is what they think of as Mexican?

I have only ordered take-out from this El Campesino location, and had a good experience both times. I ordered a fire burrito and supreme burrito; the fire burrito was great, but the supreme burrito was a bit too cheesy for my taste (the meat was great in both). The inside, I feel, is really cool. You can tell it was an old fast food restaurant because the bar is located where you would have ordered food. Staff is friendly and attentive.

15 years ago, my family came here for my birthday when the place just about opened. We are jot from around the area, but love good Mexican food. The experience was so memorable that we just had to come back. And that we did. Its now my birthday again and we came back; we were not at all disappointed. The food was spectacular and the staff was so friendly. I will not wait another 15 years to come back.

A favorite lunch and after work location at the company I worked for, I had quite a few meals at El Campo. Its conveniently located off of Rt 14 and you can also get onto 303 and 43 very easily. Very straightforward and predictable TexMex and good margaritas. They have fast lunch service so youll be able to get in and out and back to the grind without any problems.

The food was pretty good (spinach enchiladas, bean dip, and rice). Unfortunately, the margaritas I ordered didnt pack a punch at all. Couldnt taste any tequila. The mix tasted a bit cheaper than what Im used to. There was no music playing for the first 40 minutes I was there either. Kinda awkward when its that quiet.

My first experience was good. The second not good. Both were to go orders. I got home and there was a huge bag of chips and no salsa. I ordered fajitas and there wasnt any sour cream in with the toppings that should have come with it. I may try that new mexican restaurant in Streetsboro next time

Good food, nice waitress, she checked on us every few minutes, refilled our drinks when they were at the half-way point in the glass, and when we said we tipped her she said "Oh, thank you but you didnt have to do that". Very sweet girl.

Love this place. Ridiculously good value, friendly service, and your food is out in a matter of minutes. My family eats here about once a month and we have never had a bad experience. Your classic casual mexican restaurant.

I did like the atmosphere and staff, but... Fajita was pretty small and had huge chunks of green peppers. Think pepper cut into fourths and thrown in. Good flavor though. And it was $7 for lunch Fajita. Ill try it again.

The grilled chicken salad and queso delicious! margaritas and Pina coladas are so good! Salsa is ok. Service is pretty good at lunch time, slower at dinner rush.. Usually a wait at dinner time.

Food is really good, very casual, work clothes casual. Its an old McDonalds building and not much has changed, just the paint. Plenty of parking and the old drive thru is the outside patio.
