Drinks good, apps good, will not ever, ever eat mussels there or anywhere ever again. I had the worst case of food poisoning a few weeks ago, beginning precisely two hours after eating the mussels here. Its the only food that my partner did not share with me, and the only thing I had eaten all day. I know that shellfish can be tricky (I usually make my own and am super careful about storage and cooking), Im just not willing to risk it again. This was our second time there, and everything else (taste, drinks, atmosphere) was great, aside from being violently ill all night and the next day from some bad seafood. On the plus side, I took the opportunity to quit smoking, so Im not feeling too bitter ;)

When I pass away, I dont know if Ill get to go to heaven. But if I do, the heaven I have in my mind will look exactly like Bourbon when you walk in -- low lighting, and a bar lining one wall that is almost entirely comprised of different bourbons. The service was phenomenal -- knowledgeable, friendly server who recommended a bourbon Id never tried before that has now become my go-to brand. I had some kind of steak -- it was a special so not on the regular menu -- mashed tatoes and their phenomenal crispy brussels sprouts. So, so good. Definitely plan to return there when next Im in town. Its not a place to be mixed -- and if youre a bourbon drinker? You may never leave..

The food was pretty good. Cant recommend the mac and cheese. Our waitress, also not so great. I started inside at the bar and was given water, waiting for a friend to show up. When she got there, she wanted to sit outside, so I grabbed our waters and went outside. The waitress never asked if we wanted anything other than water, but asked if we would like menus. Yup, that would help. Then came back in a few min to see if we picked anything to eat, we hadnt even looked as we just started catching up. She then said, "Well you have 14 minutes to pick something from this menu." Donno, just felt rushed, and not very welcome. The Po Boy was good though.

Took over an hour to get a booth. The gentleman at the front door was very apologetic. Food was good. Dont come here for a quick bite. We in no way were expexting in and out service, as we have never been here before. Update: Upon further review and much criticism from my wife, I have upgraded my review to four stars and would like to point out the wait was the killer for me. The food is really good. We had shrimp and grits, the burger, and the beef debris. We wanted to try several of the items before recommending a resturaunt to clientele.

My husband and I love this place. Its unique in decor and ambiance with pretty great food. Our only complaint is that we NEVER get a table. We are always left to sit at the bar which is a bit awkward because we dont drink. Puts a damper on the evening feeling like a burden to the bar staff which tend to get irritated understandably with people sitting at the bar and not drinking. They have never offered for us to sit at the bar until a table is available which is odd. Pretty much dont go here just for the food. Definitely a bar.

Great fare. Simple. Rustic. Natural. Not bogged down in seasoning or sauces, and what did accompany was complementary to the natural flavors of the plate. The pork was tender, not overdone and the vegetables were delicious and simple. My partner had the burger and complemented that is was, indeed, one of the best she had ever had. The desserts were just as fabulous, simple, incredible, flavorful and not drowning in sugary sauces. Service was great and timely. We definitely will be going back.

Nice establishment. Came for a late lunch. Not a lot to choose from off the menu for lunch so I asked for the full menu just to take a look. Not a lot there either but the items sounded good. Im not a bourbon drinker at all. Brings back bad bad memories from long ago. Lol. Had the Bayou Burger with tots. Nothing special. It had pretty good flavor though. My friend had the Moscow Mule and I had a Stella beer. I may return to check this place out another time or just to have drinks.

The food and atmosphere are great. Not a very big menu, but everything on the menu is delicious. Prices range from $8-45. My only real complaint with the restaurant is the lack of seating for parties larger than 6 people. We had 12 people in our party and we had to eat in a very long, narrow table. I was practically bumping heads with the person in front of me. Other than that, the food and bourbon selection was wonderful.

Great lamb burger thanks to the rec from our server Kaylee (sp?). She was great: friendly, attentive, engaging and easygoing. I ordered a Tinto de Verano. The bar didnt know how but did their best to make it happen. Look s like a great spot spot for happy hour. Enjoyed the music and vibe: some Marvin Gaye and the like. Good Thursday night choice.

One thing to say about dining at Ruths Chris in any city is that the food is consistent and the service is impeccable. Great experience. Filet was great. Wine selection was excellent. Being associated with the hotel made for some interesting decor changes that didnt feel consistent but thats neither here nor there. Great place for good eats.

Delightful place for dinner. The small plates are much more interesting than three entrees. The BBQ shrimp was amazing. The pimento Mac and cheese was very tasty with a nice kick. The jalapeno hush puppies were the only disappointment being rather dense and were not that spicy either. The desserts were perfect... Not to sweet.

Every restaurant Kristian starts is a well-crafted concept from start to completion, much like his dishes. His enthusiasm for his job is exuded in all his specials and events. His latest was Tiki Week, where he converted the entire restaurant into a tiki hut for two weeks. I cant wait to see what he comes up with next.

This place is divine...the food is amazing I honestly cant state that enough...if you are a fan of specialty cocktails or just a good glass of bourbon this is your place...let it be known that they also have an amazing selection of spirits other than just bourbon so whatever your fancy this is the place to be.

The wife and I havent been out in some time since our son was born. Just randomly chose this spot and had a great evening. Bartender was great and hardworking(Jayson), drinks and food were fantastic. Little pricey for my blood but then again you pay for what you get. Will definitely go back next date night.

I took my daughter to try a new place the food was great but the show was not appropriate a for a 14 to see.year old to see .There was a drunk woman there yelling and crawling on her mans lap grinding on him the whole time no one said a word to them . The video I took told the whole story .

The most incredible selection of bourbon imaginable. Kat is an awesome bartender! Try the boudin balls to start...youll want to pick the bowl up and slurp up the pot liquor from the greens. I simply cannot recommend the duck breast highly enough...Its to die for! Order it rare to mid rare.
