I used to go here all the time until the new owners took over. today was the worst experience in a diner i have EVER had, from the service to the undercooked food. Our server, Grace, ignored us for the first 15 minutes, and only finally took our order as we got up to leave. She then ignored all requests for creamers, and a coffee refill (just one, mind you) took 30 minutes. After mentioning we felt ignored, our server just muttered, "i guess i shoulda just stayed home today" and some other stuff under her breath, and did not return until our food came out. The bacon was not just undercooked, it was cold and raw. My toast was literally cold buttered bread. the eggs made up for it, because those were burnt in the fires of Hades, apparently. This servers only mission was to roll silverware at the expense of ALL her customers- we saw her get chewed up twice by people treated hapf as bad as us as we were leaving. Because of the food and the service, my family will happily go anywhere BUT here for any meals now. Its all around the worst Huddle House you will ever visit.

Went to Huddle House on 19 July 2015 at 1115 am. Morning rush was winding down. Waitress was the worst waitress I have ever had. If you are not a local, and frequent this place on a regular basis then dont expect good service. Table was not cleaned up from the prior patrons. Waitress seemed put out that my wife asked for a couple more menus to add to the one we had. (We had 4 people dining in.) Waitress was even more aggravated when my daughter asked for straws for the drinks we had been served. That must have irritated Grace because during the entire meal, she did not refill the drinks we had nor did she come to ask how the food was and if we needed anything else. She would not make eye contact with my wife who was trying to get her attention so we could get our drinks refilled. We might not be local, but we do live in Hanahan. The food was good but the service was TERRIBLE.

It was a cold rainy day and I left there warm, fat and happy. The staff was polite and friendly, but the toilet seat in the bathroom was filthy (It looked like someone had vomited on it) and falling off because someone wouldnt take the 30 seconds (that I personally took) to tighten the nuts that hold it on. I could understand if they were slammed, but there were only three customers in the restaurant for at least 30-45 min and I heard the staff talk about how slow it was. Maybe they could learn something from one of my old bosses in the food industry, "If you got time to lean, you got time to clean!"

ate breakfast for the first time here in a long time .. my husband was sick all day after (vomited 4xs) and I called to notify them. (my husband and I are both in the restaurant business) We wanted to make them aware there is a situation. I called and asked for a manager (Tuesday afternoon) and they said "no, there will be no manager until Friday" (really!?!?) I informed her that the only thing we ate differently is that he had sausage patties and sausage gravy .. she said "ok.. thank you" and hung up. Not pleased and will never be back

I was there this weekend with my wife and kid.The service was very very slow.The roof was caving in from all the water damage apparently.The food came out cold and uncooked.By the time my wife got to the middle of her waffle there was an eyelash under it.After confronting the server abt it her words were "just take it out." I paused for a moment and the next words that came out of her mouth were "I just work here."It was bad!

This Huddle House has the worst service I have ever witnessed. I felt so bad for the customer who was yelled at in front of everyone, because the manager was having a bad day. This lady was about to leave and out of nowhere, the manager gets in her face. I go there often, but I think that was the last straw. In the past, I seen the cook with long brown hair cuss at the manager in front of all the customers.

This place is nasty. The lady who made everyones food is ungloved, wearing jewelry, constantly touching her shirt and then the food, (but isnt washing her hands at the appropriate times). She isnt wearing anything to keep her hair out of the food, and the service in general is slow. Only one person is actually socializing with customers. Everyone else is just "too busy". Wont be coming back any time soon....

2 orders of BURNT french toast!! Hashbrowns were rock hard!!! It was a togo order and we live on Johns Island, so I did not take it back. Ended up throwing food away and ordered pizza. Called to speak to the manager and was told "She is busy", then I was told call back at 2pm. No, I think I will post a review and call corporate!

Very happy with my food. The server (Paula) was a little slow but the cook made up for it and made sure we (and everyone else) had everything we needed. Food was cooked to perfection which exceeded our expectations from Huddle House. The cook "Katiebugg" is excellent. We will return. Five Star Review.

aweful service. aweful food. disgusting and dirty. our waitress brought us our checks before our food even got to the table. she ignored us while we were here. even while we were ordering she was cutting us off and being rude to us. horrible experience I will never go back

Typical greasy huddle House food. It wasnt very good and the service was slow. Id take waffle House over this any day. Plus there are so many great restaurants in the island its hard to find a reason to come here. Im thinking I wont be back.

Horrible atmosphere, cleanliness, service and food. A drunk came in and wasnt even satisfied. The waitress spoke like Boomhauer from King of the hill. I would rather go through a saw movie than eat at this sketchy freak show again.
