I really love the food and the bartenders are super nice. I do not know what all this talk about being racist is because my fiance is dark skinned and they have never had an issue with him. Come on people, if youre dressed like youre lounging at your house, in sweats, a white tank, or pajama pants, then youre not in the right attire to be going out. You can have some class and be comfortable all at the same time. Step it up a notch, YORK!

My first time to this establishment was a good one. Definitely have to say that this is one of the better places to go in York city. Indoor and outdoor bars, staff is quick and friendly, and you get a decent selection of food and drink for a reasonable price. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is due to the parking arrangement. Small (somewhat hidden) lot fills quick, then youre left walking if you cant find anything nearby.

I dont know what these other stuck up wine and cheese people are talking about. Its a great place to go have a few drinks watch the games and have a good time with friends. The food is really good and the owner is actually down to earth and very friendly. The waterway is an all round nice place to eat, drink, smoke, and most of all wine down from a hard days work. Waterway you rock!!!

I have always been fond of this bar, even after the new owners took over. The prices are right and food is good. However, after several attempts to contact the management to reserve space for a private event with no response, this establishment has lost my business. My attempts at contact were entirely ignored for weeks. It was enough to turn me off to this venue.

The food here is always really good as well as the atmosphere. Its a great place to go with a group of friends. Theres plenty of space to hang out for awhile and enjoy "fire on the creek" if you visit on a Friday in the summer. I would have given it a 5 but the mixed drinks are usually very strong and can use some work.

Its OK the staff a tad on the rude side but it is a bar. the food is OK nothing to get excited about. price is pretty much the same as everywhere. I only go because my people go there and I have to. For a hole its OK.

The only place open at York on Sundays. Great for bicyclists coming etiher on route S or on freedom trail. Good french onion soup, not bad beer, friendly bartender, allowing you to take your bikes inside.

Its very well priced and the staff is great. The space is a little small and the bathrooms are semi public however. If they had more space Id give it 4.5 stars.

Besides having one pool table, this bar is often filled with smokers so for the non-smokers, the atmosphere can be intense.
