Both me and my fiancee visited Oregon Grille to have a nice high end dinner. The atmosphere was very romantic and relaxing. They even provided the music of a baby grande piano and cellist. The waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. But, where we were seated, the wait staff would congregate just across the room and everything they were talking about could be heard. Now onto the food. For appetizers, we had the crab and avocado wontons and the chilled bluepoint oysters. The oysters were good, but they were priced a little high for only six of them ($16 total). As for the wontons, they were not very appealing. The avocado completely over powers the crab, to the point you do not even know that crab was in it. The wonton filling just did not work overall. For the main course, we had the prime rib with garlic mashed potatoes and the daily special (sunfish with smoked seafood risotto) with black truffle macaroni and cheese. The prime rib was HUGE!!! It was a good two inches thick and a very large portion for anyone. It could easily feed 2-3, no joke. The meat was cooked perfectly (med rare) and was very juicy. The price completely matched the size of the prime rib, however it would have been nice if they cut down the size of the prime rib along with its price. I also wished there was a little more au jus on the bottom of my plate. The garlic mashed potatoes on the side tasted great and had a good consistency. Next, the fish portion was good. The fish was cooked well, however the flavor was sort of one dimensional. The smoked seafood overwhelmed everything else on the plate. We were both excited to try the black truffle macaroni and cheese. But, the excited turned into disappointment. The truffle was quite overpowering for our palate along side the cheese. The taste overall was too rich. Lastly, we decided to go the entire way with ordering and decided to split a dessert. The dessert menu was a little blah. They had a cheesecake, creme brulee, tons of various fruits and icecream combinations, and a couple other items, but there was no cake options. It would have been nice to have a good chocolate cake, peanut butter cake, brownie, pie ... something else. We decided upon the blueberry slump. The menu stated something with a dumpling, blueberries, and vanilla ice cream. When we got the dessert, it came out in a large bowl. The bottom of the bowl had hot blueberries with some sort of blueberry sauce, I assume, and on top there was vanilla ice cream. The dessert was very good and I plan on making this at home, but we were both thrown off concerning the "dumpling" wording in the menu description. This dessert was great; however, it would have been a lot better if it has some sort cobbler or even a crumbled sugar topping. Overall, the food was okay but we did not get the wow factor. The food was definitely not worth the price. ($185 for two people with no alcohol). The service was good, except having to listen to conservations amongst the waitstaff. The atmosphere was perfect. Would we come here again? Not likely in the near future. Next time we are looking for a higher end restaurant we will go elsewhere.

I held a small wedding reception for 18 people following my daughters ceremony at Gramercy Mansion. Dinner was served on the third floor and cocktails with hour devours served outside on the adjoining 2nd floor patio deck. We couldnt be more satisfied with everything, and I mean everything. Gennifer was a pleasure to work with. She spoke with the chef and helped to make sure the menu contained wheat and gluten free items for the guests that had allergies & sensitivities. We were allowed to have music on the 3rd floor as long as it was not too loud and we arranged the tables so that we had a small dance floor. We also were allowed to decorate so the room was special. Alex and Besnick, our servers for the evening, were extremely professional, suave, courteous, and kept the party flowing from cocktails and hour devours to after dinner drinks and dessert. Their attention to detail was impeccable! The food....what can I say? There are no words to describe how delicious it all was. The filet was cooked to perfection, every hour devour was presented in artistic fashion and tasted as good as it looked. The drinks were good (and strong!). the salads and sides flavorful and cooked just right, and the desserts, well lets just say it was one of the best creme bur lees I have had. My husband is a certified executive chef with over 32 years in the hospitality business. He is very critical with his critiquing and he had nothing, and I mean nothing, but praise for the staff. He kept saying how it is so unusual anymore to find such professionalism and attention to detail that our servers, Besnick and Alex provided. He loved every dish and he sampled every entree and hour devour served. Accommodations were perfect for our needs. This is one place I cant wait to dine in again! If you are planning a small gathering this is a great place to book!

The service was bad for such a high class place. It took awhile for our waiter to take our appetizer and dinner order. I got an iced tea and asked for sugar to mix into my drink, but never received it until I asked again about a half hour later. My fiance and I ordered steaks, and I got mine medium-rare, she got hers medium-well. When they arrived at our table, they put my steak in front of my fiance, and vice-versa. We both found this out by taking a bite and then having to switch our steaks. Not something I would expect to happen here (maybe that would happen at Outback, but I dont think its ever happened to me there either). The food was pretty good, not excellent. We did get dessert to go, and that was the best part of the meal in my opinion. The steaks and the mac and cheese with truffles were mighty tasty. The atmosphere was very nice. There was a nice fire going and you would get a whiff of the crackling wood every now and then. Nice touch with the cold/snow outside. We sat on the middle floor and on our way to our table passed a piano with someone playing. Lighting was just right. Surprised there were no candles on the table. Overall I was surprised at the service. When you are paying top dollar like we did, I would expect top service. 3 out of 5 stars.

Was excited to enjoy a nice birthday dinner on the back patio under the stars. Made reservations but still had to wait about 15 minutes for a table on the patio. That was okay for us but it was only downhill from here. As we waited for our table I overheard several tables complaining about the poor slow service. The place was beyond busy so I expected that they would have staffer up. After being seated the staff seemed attentive to us but as the evening progressed it because obviously that the wait staff would disappear for 10-15 minutes at a time and all the guests would get impatient. They didnt have the original dish my fiancé ordered and they waited 25 minutes to tell him. The dish I ordered came out with different side and a watered down and spoiled tasting alfredo "sauce". Sent it back and just didnt want to wait another 40 minutes for food, especially considering my fiancé was pretty much done. Dessert was the worst creme brûlée I have ever had. The sugar was as thick as the custard and the small amount of custard in the dish was a strange thickness and texture. I wanted this to be a special evening but instead I left hungry. Never returning here and not recommending it to anyone. Not even a happy birthday from the server.
