Extremely awful experience. I work in Hunt Valley and my sister, brother-in-law and my newborn nephew drove down from New Jersey to surprise me for an early birthday lunch. A co-worker suggested Bar Louie to me so I looked up the menu and thought it would be a nice place to check out. When we arrived we did not realize we could seat ourselves so we waited at the door for awhile until anyone came to assist us. We then put in our appetizer order and main order in at the same time. The place was not entirely busy and it took 35 minutes for us to receive our 1 appetizer even though we witnessed tables sat after us get their appetizers promptly. My brother-in-law actually had to go flag down our server (Cherie) to ask where our food was. When the food finally came out I accidentally spilled my beer while trying to rearrange the table. The server did not say a word, she didnt ask if I wanted another drink and did not get us extra napkins to clean up the mess. I ordered a Turkey Ham and Brie sandwich b/c I really like brie however the sandwich did not have any Brie on it at all. My sister ordered a California Chicken Club sandwich b/c she loves avacado, guess what? No avacado. Cherie did not check in on us once during our meal to see if we needed anything nor when she dropped off the food. When she finally came with the check (which we had to ask for) she said "One of our cooks quit this morning and our manager had to help out on the line, I am sorry that you had to wait". This came off as a saving face excuse so she could still get a decent tip. Where was that information while we were waiting for our food???? I rarely write reviews or complain, normally if I dont like a place I simply just dont go back. However since this was so awful I felt the need to warn other potential patrons. You work hard for your money, dont waste it here.

I have a story to tell about the Louie bar and grill. Me and my girlfriend and our 3 kids was up Hunt Valley shopping just have a good time and stuff so my kids wanted to eat it was getting around dinner time so I ask them where did they want to Turtle everyone said Greene Turtle but my girl said she wanted something new a place we never been before so we saw Louie bar and grill so I said I give it a try and keep in mind I dont like tryin new place but it was a nice evening so what the heck but who would had knew we was going to get the worst waitress in the world I mean the worst every time she talk yo us it was on the go she never not one time stop to get our complete order she rush us the whole time we was there it was an sad experience like I never seen anything like it but the food was good except my salad was horrible i ask for shredded cheese on my salad and I didnt get any I was told in was in the salad I guess I to dumb to noticed there was no cheese on my salad but whatever my girl and the my kids was happy with there food but here the worst part after going home I decided to write corporate and tell them about our experience at that restaurant and someone call me back name Shawn he said he was the manager of Louies Bar and he apologized for the whole mess up ordeal and or bad time and off me and my girl free gift certificate for two free meal OK cool sound good this was on Sunday he was to email them to me on Tuesday lol never got them what a surprise so please stay away from this place if your waitress is name Sara run

HORRIBLE SERVICE. SERVERS WILL NOT TALK TO YOU. BLONDE BAR TENDER HAS ATTITUDE. HORRIBLE FOOD. DIRTY. MANAGEMENT IS NON-EXISTENT. I have gone to this place 20x over the past 2 years ONLY BECAUSE I live in the area and the choices are limited.. But I must say this place is HORRIBLE AND I WILL NEVER VISIT THIS PLACE AGAIN. I went to the bar and they have a plump round blonde girl with an attitude working as bar tender (been there for a year.. How I dont know). I sat down with my friend and waited 20 minutes for her to talk to us. Keep in mind there was only 2 other customers at the bar. When she finally did talk she said "Do you need anything?"... Um no. We are sitting here for fun. So I said we were going to get a table. On a Wed night, with no customers and 5 servers working, my friend and I waited 30 minutes and no one talked to us !!! Literally all 5 servers walked by us like 100 x and no one ever asked if we needed anything!!!! It was one of the worst experiences I have ever had at any resturant EVER. I finally grabbed a server and asked if we could order something and she says..." Hold on Ill find you a server "... Because apparently the children that work there do not need $$$. 10 minutes later... no server. I left and will never ever visit this hell hole again. I dont know who the manager is but they should be fired immediately... Actually everyone working there should be replaced. I HAVENT EVEN TALKED ABOUT THE FOOD ....BUT TRUST ME ITS DISGUSTING.

An unexpected treat in Hunt Valley! Ive only been to this particular Bar Louie location, but its a nice mix of a craft beer bar and a chain restaurants but with much more interesting food. I enjoy the variety of seating here, including comfy couches and outdoor seating, both standard seating and surrounding a fire pit outside. The food and drink selection have a great mix of different Americanized treats. I love the Roasted Vegetable Flatbread, Baked Mac and Cheese (with broccoli!) and their variety of burgers are available with a portobello instead of beef for vegetarians like myself. This is a great substitute for the likely microwaved Boca or Morningstar patty that most places serve. Hats off to Bar Louie for this! I also enjoy their fairly wide beer selection, including my personal favorite, Brewers Art Resurrection. Bar Louie is always clean and I enjoy the low light and atmosphere, although I find it to be very loud inside; so much so that I have a hard time hearing those who I am immediately seated next to. Service is usually very friendly, but on some visits was a little slow. On several occasions Ive observed different servers take my credit card and bill, then go to chat with bar staff for 10 minutes before coming back to the dining room to ring up the bill. This happens infrequently but its disappointing when it does. Overall, I enjoy Bar Louie a great deal and its a great addition to the Hunt Valley area!

The worse service I have ever experienced. Waited a little under 2 hours to get food. Server went to every other table except for mine, called another server over to take our food order and he just laughed it off saying we must be sitting in a bad spot... Had to wait over 30 minutes to order another round of drinks. At this point I was frustrated and asked to speak with a manager. I watched the manager laughing and going through pictures and conversing at a table across the bar. The server assured me she had notified the manager that I needed him, however it took 35 minutes for the manager to finally come see what was wrong!! When I complained to him about the lack of service and professionalism and why he took so long to come see what the issue was, he rudely cut me off saying that He wont do anything for me if Im going to insult him, and claimed no one had told him I needed him (wonder why he came to the table then if he didnt know..) and acted very hostile. At this point I was done, so I just said forget it and paid and left. Server had offered to discount two drinks as a courtesy, and they even failed to do that on the tab - they can keep it. Absolutely horrible service and management. I dont blame the servers, I blame the management for lack of professionalism and respect to the customer. If you are looking for a good night and proper service take your time and money elsewhere.
