I just left there about an hour ago. I walked in and immediately was greeted by two customers who had a "what the hell are you doing here" look on their face. I was wearing a suit and searching for a place to have a quiet cup of tea and to do a little work. The waitress was in her mid forties with a pony tail. She smiled at other customers but was very cold to me for some reason. She did not smile once and was very monosyllabic. The first thing I noticed about this place is that it is not what it advertises itself to be. It is NOT a coffee shop. Sure it sells coffee but it is not what people typically associate to be "coffee shop". This is a typical every day diner. I dont mind diners but if I walk into a place titled "coffee shop", it is not a dingy little diner I am searching for. I ordered a cup of tea and the tea came out luke warm and tasted like crap. I paid $1.55 for a teabag, lukewarm water and a satchel of processed cream. So much for being a coffee shop. The service was not worth a tip. As soon as I said I was not going to order any more than a cup of tea the waitress blanked me. She would not even look at me as I walked out, never mind the customary, "thank you, have a nice day". I would recommend avoiding this one and finding another place to eat. They dont even have customary wi fi. Pretty pathetic for an establishment that advertises as a "coffee shop".

This is one of my favorite places. The soup is always original and extremely tasty. The staff couldnt be more pleasant. This is an old fashioned coffee shop, It is not a Starbucks. To you, Apocuinn, this is an old fashioned coffee shop, not a coffee house. Most of the customers come from the hospital and the college next door so I doubt if they were really too offended by your suit. Perhaps it was the fact that you took up an entire booth to use as your personal office, while ordering next to nothing, that bothered them. The waitresses that work at this delightful coffee shop live on our tips so when we just want a drink we usually sit at the counter so we can leave the booths for larger parties. As for the WiFi, Really? You walked into that quaint old coffee shop and expected WiFi? From your review, Im guessing your age is late teens to early twenties. Perhaps you need to watch an old Seinfeld rerun to see what a coffee shop really is. Meanwhile stop cutting down one of my favorite restaurants.

Great customer service every time. The place is always clean and the food comes without too long of a wait. The food is really good and they have good portion sizes. The only problem is that the name of the place is misleading, they do not sell coffee.
