Heres why this Starbucks location gets two stars instead of five: cigarette smoke. That is, in all seriousness, this locations most egregious problem and Im not sure if theyll ever fix it. Its so obvious. The employees here are always working hard and have great customer service skills. But, clearly, they have no interest in enforcing their own NO SMOKING rules. The signs are posted on the outside and the inside: NO SMOKING within 25 feet. And, its appalling that a place of business thats supposed to promote a clean environment where you can drink and eat without having toxic carcinogenic fumes assault as you step in and step out just does nothing about it. Just because they smoke doesnt mean I have to smoke, too, by drawing in the same ashy cloud of death. In fact, one of the old guys whos constantly at the front door stubbornly smoking every day even looks like the Grim Reaper of Cigarettes. You can tell hes on his last leg, yet he wont give the cancer stick. But, thats the thing: that should be HIS problem, not mine and certainly not the healthy, non-smoking customers whove made better life choices. Since its the same folks who are constantly outside every day dragging on cigarettes at the front door - IN CLEAR VIOLATION OF THE NO SMOKING RULE - the employees here are probably too afraid or punked out to say anything. They are probably fearful theyll lose loyal customers. But thats pure nonsense because its about as busy as the Starbucks on 42nd Street in Manhattan. And, you never even see these guys with coffee perhaps 80% of the time theyre out there smoking. Seriously guys: PLEASE ENFORCE YOUR NO SMOKING RULES. The majority of NON-SMOKING customers should not have to be subjected to it nor should their kids. No one should be lounging on the benches outside blowing smoke at the front door. And, again, KIDS shouldnt have to suffer from someone elses cancer-stick habit. Enforce your 25-ft rules folks. Kick people off the bench who are smoking. Tell them to take a walk. Its not like their buying your coffee that often anyway. And youd be a better and much more community-friendly business for it.

High turnover of employees says alot about this location. Also the parking lot is a tiny cramped disaster. I saw the SECURITY GUARD for the mall DOUBLE PARKING someone so he could stop in the LIQUOR STORE and watch KENO. F***. I know this is the fault of the mall, and not the Starbucks, but I want to give you fair warning if you have never been here. Every Starbucks has its regular customers, but the ones here are really creepy. There are very few employees who work here and they change frequently. Seems like the problem stems from high level management, but who knows? The people who buy here are dumb as bricks. They will order incredibly complicated drinks, and then, while the cashier is trying to ring everything up correctly they will shove their cash in the cashiers face like total f***ing idiots instead of just waiting. The staff here can be rude, but after seeing how the dumb-f*** customers treat them Im really not surprised. Oh yeah, and IMMEDIATELY after placing their order they run up to the pick up counter and ask "DURR HURR IS MY DRINK READY YET?" S****y customers, s****y employees, expensive drinks. Yep, its a genuine Starbucks. Also, people who come in for a free cup of water get to walk right up to the drink pick-up counter and get water right away, but PAYING CUSTOMERS have to stand in line.

This is my "regular" Starbucks, and if I could give the employees 10 stars, I would!!! Every single employee in this store treats me like family! They dont HAVE TO, but they do!! Not only are they friendly, respectful, and determined to ALWAYS make my drink just perfect, they take pride in their work. I watch how they treat the other customers, and hey treat them the same. The store is always kept clean, and stocked. The employees have been around for a LONG time, so they know what theyre doing! Ive gone to MANY other Starbucks shops, and this one, BY FAR, is the cleanest, and has the best customer service. Others in the area are nasty to the customers, (whether youre a regular or not!) and take no pride in their stores appearance. Thank you Starbucks on Annapolis Road, for always making sure I leave HAPPY!!

I dont know what has happened to this Starbucks ever since new people have came in and some of the old ones left service is horrible I had to walk out because the cashier was too busy flirting with another customer and after waiting for five minutes or more still didnt take a break to get my order

The baristas are top-notch and genuinely friendly. Service is fast and highly satisfactory. I work across the street from these guys and have been going to them for months, and Ive never had bad service. If you want your day brightened and your faith in humanity restored, drop in here.

Stopped off I-95 to grab Starbucks specifically. I ordered a Venti French Vanilla Iced Latte with extra cream. What I recieved was a cream milkshake, not even a trace of expresso. What a disgusting disapointment. Worst coffee to Ive had to date. Management needs to retrain staff.

Seems they charge more than other Starbucks. They always mess up a simple chai tea latte. I think they have got it correct twice. I know I have an accent but I never ask for a double chai tea latte. Its too much. Dunkin donuts however gets it right, first time every time…

Fast and friendly service!!! It was my second time comin in and Ill definitely be back!! They were on their job this morning. Also the barista asked me if I wanted my coconut milk steamed or cold, which I really appreciated!! Thanks guys!! Keep up the good work!!

Major Improvement in customer service this group was very kind to my children as they change their orders and made unique orders and not one hint of dissatisfaction they were very kind and fixed what was needed thanks so much great service we will be back

My worst customer service experience ever !!! First cashier was rude, real rude!!! Then they just forget to make my coffee, after 15min when I asked for my coffee, they said, will make it now, really? No any apologies.

This Starbucks is a wonderful place the people of very friendly and always willing to remake your drink if it is not correct. It is more of a family ambience where everyone is friendly and knows each other.

First time at this location, even after living close by for years. When I came in it was slow, though due to location or timing Im not sure. Seating may be limited during a rush.

Cool place to relax and enjoy some good coffee, the wait takes about 5 minutes between walking and getting what you order. Love the couches, but people are usually in them :/

I love Starbucks, but not this location. The employees deviate from the recipes when making drinks. The store is often overcrowded in the morning and very messy.
