I and my guests have dined at this excellent new BYOB restaurant for both lunch and dinner four times in the last two months. Its that good! It offers a cozy, contemporary atmosphere with excellent, friendly and prompt service. A taste of any of the artfully delicious cullinary delights prepared by Chef Andy will bring a smile to your face and leave you with a happy and memorable dining experience. Without breaking your wallet too! I for one am eager to return whether it be for a casual lunch or a special night out with my wife or friends. Definitely a must try on any bucket list of restaurants in the Philly area.

Just home from one of the worst dining experiences ever......the food was pretty good but the whole environment was terrible. My wife and I were with friends celebrating her birthday and the whole evening was ruined by the very loud table next to us. They behaved as if they were the only table in the place and it was clear from the other diners that they had the same reaction. We could not hear ourselves talk and my only regret is that I wish they had been there when we came in rather than the other way round. We would have left if we had known what to expect. We will not be back.

Met a lady at Spence Cafe for dinner Saturday night. Food was great, service was good, prices were high. The noise was so loud I could not hear a thing the server said. It was impossible to have a conversation due the the loud noise in the dining room. Result: what should have been an enjoyable meal was ruined by the noise.

Tried the new Spence Cafe location for the first time tonight. Food and service was excellent. Became a little loud in the restaurant when it filled up, but not so much that we couldnt have a conversation. Everyone seemed happy to be there enjoying good food. Love the decor and byob is a plus. Service was excellent.

My husband threw me a 40th birthday at Spence. Andrew was so accommodating and the food was outstanding. The beautiful space is warm and very inviting. We even had live music, acoustic duo, Hake and Jarema! I highly recommend Spence Cafe for a private event.

Andrew and the Spence crew hosted our baby shower, fantastic job. The food was excellent, and so was the service. Im a big fan of Andrews food, and am really excited the original Spence Cafe is back!

Warm and welcoming atmosphere, staff so personable, Andrew is an excellent chef and so engaging with clientele. Love the menu and food is so fresh!! It is our weekly go to spot to be pampered!!
