We used to go to Starbucks all the time and wanted to switch things up. So we decided to try BewHaHa, the first time wasnt a bad experience, but nothing to brag about. The five or six times Ive been back the service was awful. The employees are always cursing at each other, they always grumble and fuss when you order a cold drink or something that takes a simple extra step. Very poor customer service. I almost always leave my change as a tip and the last time I went I was .03 cents short for a bottled water and the cashier who knows Ive been there several times before wouldnt help me out. I know we wont be going there anymore. Try CentralPerk, much nicer place and its right across the street!

Its unfortunate that I cant give it more stars because the coffee/espresso drinks are very very good, but that doesnt extend to some of the baristas. Two times I ordered an iced latte with an extra shot, and I watched him put the milk in first, leave barely enough room, and when he started adding the second shot he ran out of room and just poured the excess espresso into someone elses drink. I watched him do it. Twice. I paid extra for the espresso, i.e. I wanted all of it in my drink, not 1/3 of it. Also, just got another drink with flavor in it, barista completely ignored the flavor request I guess because it doesnt have any in it. Great coffee and products, maybe not so great baristas. :(

So the morning crew isnt the best but the night people are friendlier. Coffee and tea options are on point. I stopped going here for two reasons: I cant use my card to pay, no matter how many time I try or how new the card is (they need new machines), and when they change their hours they change them quick and with no notice. Its a shame because I really liked this place. I may stop in every once in a while when I know I have cash in hand and happen to see that theyre open (without a shadow of a doubt, no question, open) but otherwise...DD is right next door and two other shops across the street that are just as quality as BHH is. Oh well.

The atmosphere is nice and cozy. They have bench seats along the wall lined with kilim pillows, industrial looking furniture, and tons of natural lighting. I came on a weekeday morning around 8:30am and it was not crowded at all. For a breakfast sandwich, a cinnamon bun and specialty iced coffee, I spend $15 and some change. (The place is hidden on the second floor of a multi-business building.) I would recommend checking it out!

The baristas are great and extremely helpful/informative but the cashiers are always miserable. Its expensive for what it is, too, with inconsistent quality. Some days you can get the best drinks in town hands town (which is then worth the money) and other times it is really watered down and the baked goods sometimes even stale (which is then not worth the money, obviously). Hopefully it picks up! Consistency is everything!

Great place to have a coffee and a snack off the beaten path in Newark. Its on Main Street, but It is located on the second floor and away from the street so its quieter. The south facing windows provide morning sun. Plenty of space to spread out and read, work or meet a friend. Good coffee and friendly service.

good stuff coffee wise interior design makes me want to un-eat the double cheeseburger I ate 3 months ago Staff good and well trained in making good espresso What the heck are those balls of material on the wall like a Salvador Dali anthropology hospital mix (unsettling)

My favorite coffee shop on Main Street. The only annoying part is how busy it gets in the afternoon. Otherwise, they have great food, great coffee, and a large tea selection. My favorite drink is the traditional cappuccino.

Friendly, helpful, great food, great coffees - and dog-friendly too. They take care of my hound like hes part of their family. I love this place - and it has been my weekend hangout for a year.

Some of the best coffee in Newark, especially with the addition of soy and almond milk options. Its usually crowded but well worth the wait. Definitely a great morning hang out spot.

Super awesome, chill, great guys Edit: Lately I feel like the house coffee is suffering from some dilution (-1 star). I only go there for espresso or lattes anyways now :P

If you want real coffee on Main St., this is the place to go. Good selection of baked goods and made-to-order sandwiches as well. Service is quick and the digs are nice.

Of the half a dozen places to get a cup of coffee on this block, this place is by far the best. Get a tall drink and study your butt off here.
